Nah, we're for sure not getting the Wendover in this update. We only got one development pic and it was super early. We'd see a lot more stuff by now.
I'm not sure about a Rotary/Wankel 200BX. I guess it would be a good step away from being a straight up S13 200SX, but I would leave the quirky stuff like that to Hirochi. Still waiting for that Gavril 4.5 swap we were told about in 2014 though... Now that would make some cool drift/drag racing configs. The Superpig was a huge project with multiple body styles and massive changes from the factory truck, which was further delayed an update due to the interior updates to the D-Series. The GTX Covet is just a body kit that looks complete and a new drive train, which is almost certainly either VTEC or a refinement of NineteyNine's old mod, neither of which are things I imagine would take months to complete. It might be part of a larger Covet update and pack with those in 0.22, or come alone in 0.21, I don't think we can call it either way.
I just hope they fix the massive torque steering that the Covet has. Not too strong with a stock 90hp engine but definitely awful with a 300Nm diesel engine lol I tried to make several diesel engines for the Covet and I always regret doing it haha
So is the Pessima and others and can handle perfectly a fully built 600Nm 1.9TDI engine lol Either way, a bone stock covet has actually a more aggressive torque steer compared to the other FWD cars
Either way, the Covet does need to be redone, the rear suspension model doesn't even match the jbong anymore
I'm guessing the ZXI Covet would have something along the lines of a 1.6 DOHC naturally aspirated engine with variable valve timing.
The covet has more torque steer because its halfshafts are of unequal length : both gen pessimas use intermediate shafts to prevent torque steer ; the covet doesn't
Wow that's very interesting, makes sense! I didn't know that made a difference lol Thanks for the explanation Sorry for not being on topic
