going off of Discord rich presence, I presume jared (@ferrettank /Samuelson Performance CEO(presumably as in-game lore)) is working on the D-series crawler/prerunner, and B25 Mitch is working on the collision model and driving dynamics of the sadlad I'd guess.

Yeah, its a Bendover recreation i made with Automation. It "could" be accurate, but since we don't really have much information about it, it's more like a boring and generic 80s coupe

 

Trying to advertise your "mod" and get people to download. Everyone could make this thing in like 3 minutes!



Anyway, great to see real Wendover teasers, unless B25 or someone is trolling!

OK so here is my list of car updates. That i think that is going to come.
99% chance of D-series off road and face lift. I hope we get bucket seats. as well as new engines and uplifts from the h series. As well as inside being reworked.

H-series 80/ it will be out, coming with what who knows. ( hopes for passenger van ) And side windows and a bigger v8..

Hooper may also have new skins. And maybe more i do not remember.

Covet. Well the car i wanted a remaster of since 2017! seems to have it !
Unknown if its a FULL remaster or some parts. It looks like a POSSIBLE AWD system. Think of a Mini pessima is the best hatch in the game. Wait cant forget the vivace

Also Does this mean ZXI Trim is dead. Or is GTZ a EVEN more high end Trim.
Oh and does this mean that Carby covets will have a Carby mesh. Oh and removed door panels will have door textures ( if you know what am getting at )

I say there is a 80% chance it will show up.

Wendova is in game, and was somewhat shown in a bendy way ( Give bendy wewe ) While looking WAY better ( imo ) then legrand she needs more work, I think its Wait to march for update. or give update and Wendova later. HOWEVER looking good. 20% chance this will show up this update ( if update is before 2021 )

West cost USA we know that has been worked on, While not a remaster. Its more of a tune up.

Photo mode will be great. as well.

I think that covers MY version of that will come. the other list is better. Just with a bad day i had, And having no interest in cyberpunk. I just had to do this


As for times of ETA.
i think we have 50/50% this weekend. and 80% for next.

i agree they're definitely going to have something for the h series. it might be just the facelift, and no passenger versions yet, but the fact that that and the pickup facelift are happening at the same time does make me thing we'll be getting a bigger gavril engine (maybe even a V10?)

The covet remaster is going to be awesome, i can't wait to see what crazy engine parts it has.
there's a theory that the covet GTz is going to have a turbo+supercharger system, which would be awesome to see officially, and I wouldn't be surprised if the GTz replaces the "ZXi Special Edition", but they keep the more basic ZXi.

also, that looks like it could be a boot-mounted spoiler on the rear, which would add to the 80's aesthetic.

 

I guess they want us to think it's not ready, but when it comes this update the surprise is even bigger.... i guess

 

Woah, a Covet remaster? That's surprising. I guess this probably means that the Ibishu line of cars is going to be the next remaster candidates, which isn't surprising really, considering they got quite the large variety of cars. Also, Covet Group B rally car when?

 

i assume that it won't be coming this update. the most we can hope for at the moment is a covet remaster and maybe the maps edited with snowmen. off topic but does anybody realise that not including mods the vanilla ibishu stopped making cars in like 2000

 

Yeah, and Gavril originally didn't make anything past 2001 with the H-Series. That's because BeamNG was supposed to be a derby racing game, and then they just made it freeroam. That's the reason the vanilla vehicles (including the Wendover) are predominantly big old crappy American cars.

 

Gavril Roamer facelift was 2000-2006.

 

That was thought of after the first release, but you are right on that. The first concept cars are all old cars perfect for derby racing. Plus, the Roamer was originally 1990s, so it's old and good for derby. Sorry, I just realized you were talking about another part of that post.

 

i have a small feeling that the covet remaster was one of those things worked on concurrent to the things that we previously had known (d-series facelift, h-series facelift, d-series crawler), kind of like the Tograc, and it maybe, possibly, just might be released in 0.21

 

Is that really the genesis of BeamNG? That's fascinating. Is there more out there to read on that?

 

If you haven't already, you certainly should watch the early BeamNG youtube channel videos. Just go to the official channel and sort by oldest. It's also interesting to go through the the official content section of the forums and pay attention to the wording Gabester used to describe the cars he was making in 2012-2014. He used a lot of language that focused on durability and destruction (Even on the I-Series, our midsized German luxury sports sedan...I always thought that was really odd...)

Another interesting thing is to watch contemporary videos of the early public versions by Youtubers like Kurtjmac & SpaceGK. The entire game and devblogs just had a completely different atmosphere to them.
