First step: Think about what you want to post. Take time over it if you need to. Keep in mind that thousands of people will read your posts and you waste a lot of people's time if you just write things like "lol" or "I like". Remember to search before you post, it can be tiresome to answer the same question over and over.
devs said update wont be this Friday but it will be before Christmas so that gives us an 8 day period between the 17 and the 25th ITs coming
While I'm excited for the LeGran and the caravan, I can't take my mind off of the Hopper. Is it going to be a part of this update? I would be very happy if someone like @gabester confirmed if the Hopper will be a part of the update or the next one.
i doubt it will be in the next update, as the legran is confermed, yet the hopper is not. and the last time we saw the hopper it was very unfinished.
It looked almost done to me. Looked like all it needed was an interior, some headlights (maybe, looked like it had dark tinted headlights), and maybe a symbol on the grille. Well, the Hopper's absence will most likely be my only disappointment with this next update. I'd be overjoyed to finally have the LeGran, but it wouldn't be the same without the Hopper alongside it, especially if you're someone who's been dying to have a Wrangler style SUV in BeamNG.drive for months. --- Post updated --- Heck, I'd even be okay with the Hopper being released in a hot fix/patch, since I believe the Miramar, the Burnside Special, and the K-Series were all released on the 0.5 versions, after the first generation Pessima.
Not sure about that, but when I looked back to last year's dev blog posts, the 80's Pessima, and the Burnside Special were released very close to each other within I think a couple weeks from each other in the same month... which was December.
I went to the official content, and saw that a few of the cars were all released in the 0.5 range, including the 80's Pessima, the Burnside, the Miramar, and the K-Series. So, I would be okay if they repeated this with the Hopper.
Enough with the damn Hopper already, we're getting a new car (yay) and there are people already asking for another one to be pushed into the upcoming update. You'll end up expecting too much and get disappointed in the end.
I'm not pushing them, I've just been wondering whether or not it will be, and I'm HOPING for the chance that it MIGHT be there. Hoping for something and forcing someone to do something are two different things. If the Hopper is not part of it, I'll be okay with that, but I wouldn't be as happy. At least one car is better than nothing.
Well people wonder day and night in countless threads and from what I've seen they grow really tired of it because of how obvious it is.
Very valid points. I can understand that. Like I said, I've been anticipating it since it was first unveiled. If you're someone like me, you'd be spending months wanting and waiting for a SUV like the Jeep Wrangler in BeamNG, and the Hopper is so far the only guaranteed to be released SUV similar to a Wrangler that fits the bill. I'll understand if the devs need more time to work on it, since the vehicles most certainly take time to develop. We don't see it, but I'm sure they could tell you how long a car spends in development.
You're pretty much starting to beg the devs to add the Hopper, they don't like that. Hopper likely won't be added in the next update, end of discussion.
Does anyone know the difference between curiosity and hope and forcing people to do stuff? If I was going to force them I'd be like, "HEY THE HOPPER BETTER BE IN THE NEXT UPDATE!!!" As far as I'm concerned, I haven't been saying anything like that. I'm just going to be quiet about the Hopper for a while. People doesn't seem to understand what I'm saying.
