Soo guys. I didn't read everything here because Beamng stopped giving me notifications, so I thought that nothing is happening and now I'm kinda hyped... so I am sorry if I post some idea, that was already posted.
Getting to the topic - my idea: we have seen new, crazy, awesome video with Superpig, which is teaser as You might notice. Lot of you guys have posted that it's common that update drops approx 2 days after the teaser. So, if it doesn't drop today, I'm sure it will happen next week, like tuesday or what...
aand I'm already super excited about what the Devs have done

it might just be me but i noticed that the taillights look new mostly cause of the rear fenders, they look pretty spot on to the h-series ones, but just modified in minor ways.

If not a surprise Friday release, my money is somewhere between Tuesday-Thursday next week.

 

Honestly to me the taillights look like they are the same shape as the old ones, retextured to look like the H-Series or Roamer taillights

This isn't one of those dev blog videos like we get just before an update though, it's just another Teaser Tuesday* vid. But it's definitely odd that instead of calming down this thread when everyone says the update is coming, they released 2 official teasers in 2 days and the discord stuff from yesterday.

We should have already seen things if it was coming today, IIRC it's usually 6:30pm Geneva time that they confirm an update is that day

 

I don't think its 4x4, how would the halfshafts get through the coil springs? Most independent 4wd trucks use torsion bars as springs because the axles would interfere with where the spring mounts. Also I see tie rods and control arms, but no axles.

 

I honestly even think that it comes out tomorrow because the dev version was not updated since yesterday. So maybe they just have to do the trailers and then release

 

Yes it is, I believe that the first vid on their YouTube channel featured a derby looking D-Series, the fact that the Derby Arena map is in existence PLUS it was one of the first maps in the game, it launched in 0.3. Also, as another reply says, gabester's wording is some of the first forum threads also implicates that it was meant to be a derby game, but with actual crash physics. Also, you have to remember that BeamNG was created by a few Rigs of Rods devs, and that game is a, you guessed it, derby game.

 

Plus aren't trophy trucks typically RWD anyway to accommodate to sharp corners on the tracks and stuff?

(btw I just realized that the WCUSA trophy circuit will actually have purpose now that we have the proper truck for it)
