Update Speculation thread

Like the EtK map.

 

The ETK map looks finished to me. It's just a testing facility so it's simply a small map.

 

what's unfinished there

 

Some development screenshots doesn't mean that it will come immediately. Let's just be happy with the awesome update that we will get.

Legran
Camper
Bugfixes
colorable skins
new parts
and something big and unexpected (but no map)
edit
drivetrain stuff

 

Powertrain

 

I'm mainly looking forward to the powertrain update. I couldn't really get hyped for the rest.

I hope we have clutch and transmission damage, they added the car engine damage, would make the game more realistic.

I hope the trailer is also released in this update tho. i was planning on making on as well but the devs were faster lol.
When the carmageddon max damage modding tools gets updated im still going to port the rv trailer to beamng since it has 4 wheels instead of 2.
But its amazing to have an official rv now.
this weekend has been soooo long knowing that the update is out next week.

 

Hoping for WCU simply because I look forward to recreating Biggie's fatal shooting :^)

By the sounds of it, WCU is somewhat near completion but won't be in this update, and Italy is pretty far off for right now.

 

Or you can use WCU to recreate some LAPD police chases.

 

Seeing as this is a car based game it would probably be the most fun to recreate gone in 60 seconds and bullitt with the recreated hilly streets of san fran. Set up some fruit stands and crash through them with a yellow and black barstow painted like eleanor.

Oh! i just realized I was thinking about the k-series, sorry. They said they were going to add more engines to it and other stuff.

 

We need to wait for a Gavril Bluebuck police edition first.

 

Or pretend you are CJ from GTASA and drive around like a maniac recreating GTASA missions.

 

Or you could pretend you are any of GTA V's main characters and drive around like you're trying to escape from the LSPD.

 

so back on topic. What upgrades do you think the LeGran will have if any? How would you modify the car? Also how much would you drive it?

 

Put drag front and rear tires, and repeatedly turn to hard and flip the car of Cliff Roads

 

i had many 80's cars and they had a 2.5 ohc i4 ..also a 2.8L v6 that made 125hp. and maybe a 3.8 but this body platform didnt get 3.8's in IRL 2.5 i4/2.8 v6 seems more realistic... that larger vehicles got the 3.8 unless this car gets it...80's 3.8's were under powered anyhow just plenty of torque to get around town

 

What will I do with this update?
Vroom vroom, screeeeeech! Kaboom!
OT- I'm guessing the legran will be an i4 2.5l.

 

I will dress the dummy as a old lady, and put her in the car and crash it at 20 mph.
