Update Speculation thread

If the Wendover doesn't have a gauge cluster in Times New Roman I do NOT want it

TBH I more or less thought it would be coming next update before that picture was posted. The devs have confirmed that they've stopped using placeholder screenshots for it, which would seem to imply that the Wendover is in game, in a usable state, and possibly that they have started setting up configs for it.

That would make no sense. That’s not even probable. That idea is plain stupid, and what would those have to do with the idea. A spy would not work if there is no people in the game and the hacker update. What would that do? Would have have to type in 25 commands to spawn a car. Those 2 ideas are plain stupid and until we see more definitive proof about these ideas, they will just be seen as suggestions, not speculation

i guess it's somewhat good that we haven't gotten a teaser in about a month because it probably means the salad wondover is almost readyish

 

What??? How does that work? You would think that more ready == more teasers?

I mean, it is all but confirmed for the next major update, but... I just don't understand your reasoning

If that was the case they'd run the risk of spoiling the update and now that I think about it, sharing too much info would almost make the wait more excruciating

 

Meanwhile Mojang is out here releasing development snapshots pretty much every week

 

what.. does that have to do with beamng? i'm also gonna take a wild guess and say that more people work at mojang

 

Pre-Microsoft Mojang and current BeamNG are about the same size in terms of number of staff: Somewhere around 60. Of course that was a long time ago...

OT: I don't know what the topic of this thread has been for the last week

 

The topic is the community demonstrating how this thread needs to be locked until the next teaser/announcement.

 

I don't mean any disrespect here, but that's stupid. How would one decide what period of time after a teaser was allowed before the thread must be locked? What if someone finds, oh, I don't know, some unreleased wagon's body hidden in the game files? Would they then have to wait until the thread is unlocked to share their discovery? If you know there haven't been any official teasers, then you don't have to read this thread, but you do, because you know there's a possibility of someone finding something in the downtime.

 

OK so we know of the Sedan body slot.

But has anyone posted the FWD, As well as lifted springs.
