There are some scenario files named "chapter_2_prototype" in the JRI folder. These might actually be a sequel to A Rocky Start.
I think there will be for sure derby and sport customizations. Maybe V8 as well? Or black high-end version like buick gnx version. Not sure about drag. Lowrider maybe? The customizations will be imo opinion similiar to american cars and bruckell. Plus if bruckell gets wagon then soliad probably as well. But this is on the edge of being speculation.
There probably will be a "derby config" along the lines of the ones in game already, since it is a big American boat. I've never been to a track that has a derby class for vehicles like the Wendover, but the ones we have now aren't exactly realistic derby mod material anyway (Edit: Found a track that does have a class for such cars, and there was a teaser today of a realistic derby LeGran config). Same story for a drag config. I've never heard of an IRL build like this would be, but that hasn't stopped the team before. Lowered suspension would make sense. Hydraulic suspension would be a lot on that poor front end, though I have seen comparable cars with hydraulic suspension so I guess it isn't completely out of the question. A transverse V8 is possible but that's purely speculation. The Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo is the closest IRL car to a sport Wendover. Bucket seats, slightly aggressive body kit, and stiffer suspension. The sport Wendover would probably toss a supercharger into the mix on top of that. Personally I'd love to see a pair of performance configs: one that's just an aesthetics package (complete with fake dual exhaust) and one "proper" performance package (by appropriate standards at least). I don't see it getting a wagon. Late 1980's FF personal luxury wagon is a weird combination. The closest IRL car I can think of is the Taurus wagon, but that was a volume midsized.
The only reason I don't see a wagon happening for the Soliad is that it's (if I recall correctly) a unibody frame, and it's a 2 door semi-luxury coupe. For this kind of platform, to make a wagon, you're talking stretching a purpose-built 2 door frame, extending it to four doors, and further to accommodate for the hatch area. It simply doesn't make sense to stretch a frame this much for a wagon, a category which in the 90s had already begun to decline from the SUV boom. It would be like trying to make a wagon out of a late Buick Riviera or Olds Toronado - while it's a neat concept, it simply doesn't make sense
https://twitter.com/beamng/status/1369348956409446419 legran wagon confirmed! and more wendover info edit: that isnt a wendover but it seems to be a legran with a new badge/grille. soliad rebadge?
New front fascia for the LeGran, and the LeGran wagon. Looks like i was right, once again. The LeGran is getting revamped.
Holy shi- This is not what I expected for Legran. Looks great! But the question about the pink Bruckell is: Is that a rebadged Soliad or facelifted Legran?
i thought the wendover was supposed to be a legran revamp/s But seriously, is that a legran on the left?
That pink Legran is a Legran. I don't think it is a pre-facelift, I think it is a facelifted gen for the 90's like the 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera.
