this walking mode coming in 0.22 (at least I'm hoping )

I don't want to make a gta 5 of BeamNG, but the idea that we can hop in/off cars is a very very good idea
if you look closely at the video, isnt there already a bit of view bobbing?
idk if its just me but i think i notice it sway a tiny bit.
I think that's just the camera moving along with the bumps in the terrain.

I noticed that as well, very subtle but a nice touch if it's intentional and not just the terrain.
The way I see it, it looks like the devs are starting to implement the core features/gameplay elements of career mode. IIRC there were some changes to the checkpoint markers or something like that a couple updates ago, and this walk mode seems to go along with that. We're probably gonna see the framework of career mode fleshed out long before career mode is released

The "walking" feature could be used to change cars in more gamey way, like in Driver 2. Also it can be used in garage mode or for purchase menu like TDU or whatever.

definitely better than pressing tab 5 times to get to a certain car

It also depends how this mode would work: The new separate mode where You could normally walk, or something like from RoR.
I wonder what will happen in the walking mode if you try to go in water. The game could stop you from going into water or it might not and you’ll be able to swim in game also. BeamNG.swim
