Same here, idk why but those annoy me so much. I hope they find a way to fix the taillights causing it to flicker, and I'm sure they'll be able to work out the ESC lockup. Speaking of bugs, do we know of anything else?
Speaking of mirrors, the ones on the Wendover look really clear and detailed, wonder if all the other cars will get this little touch. The reflection, I mean.
Hmm... seems the Wendover might be more Cadillac than Pontiac? So perhaps we will get a hilariously disappointing V8 option after all
I think (imo) the walking mode is a very good feature! Not game changer? Hmmm...But maybe game changer
Previous big features were: first official electric car, first official hydraulic suspension, water physics, drivemodes, reworked tire behaviour, etc. Compared to these walking camera is not really game changing
If they add walk mode now, they must add openable hoods, doors and tailgates also, without them walk mode is going to be just huge missed opportunity.
Since we know that you can get out of a car and walk around. There is a good chance that car doors can be interacted with. If you can open doors, then It is reasonable to believe that walking mode being released along with the Soliad Wendover means that it comes with a voice diagnostic system since certain voice lines would be things like doors being left open. That would also warrant the walking mode's implementation to the game even if we do not get a career mode. I personally cannot wait to walk from my parked LeGran V6 Towing Package to my hitched Caravan and spend a whole day camping at Juniper Grove.
Imo this is too far fetched, that would be way too much work for 1 update. We are already getting: Wendover including digidash LeGran revamp including wagon body, 4x4 and possibly a whole facelift Derby stuff Gridmap revamp but possibly in another update Walking mode Possibly Bolide revamp Maybe new Covet body style but probably not Probably something else I forgot So with all of this, a whole new mechanics with opening doors and playing voice lines seems like way too much work to additionally include in this update.
Agree w most of the things, but where did you get that Covet stuff? And Bolide, yeah, probably not this time...
People were saying that the Covet might get a 5 door variant because the unibody was renamed to "3-door hatchback unibody" and the Jbeam of the doors was changed. But I doubt it's getting it tbh.
What if only Wendover and LeGrand remastered got the doors to open? I mean ... we're on a game that is only in Alpha, so it makes sense for the developers to bring new features to just one or two vehicles and then bring them to all of the others in future updates. One more thing, do you think the h series will receive an update or it have to wait a little longer?
Van remaster definitely not in this update, at least I doubt. And also, I doubt they would work on that door stuff and released it only for 2 cars...
I'm not sure that walking mode will be in the next update. They tease it in devellopement media, but it can be a part of a larger game mechanic, and maybe it's not fully finish. I don't really expect to see it in the next update. I think all cars have working doors hinges, so if the devs put on a system that work with any set of hinge and lock, maybe they will not have to do some adjustement on all cars
