We still do not have any Central/Eastern European maps, that should be solved by the ETKDEC remaster though. Apart from a large city map, I could see the devs adding a snowy Northern European map along with winter tires.
They already said that if they would implement these features, they would do it properly, so it will be a long and complicated process. They have other thing planned before this, so I would not bet on seeing this in the near futur
Yeah, I know haha. Ive followed the game since 2013 and I know they said if they do it they'd do it properly. I just like food for thought
No, they didnt, thats what we were saying. They said if they were to implement it. They would do it properly. Which is 100% the right thing to do
So I wonder if they add another european map, whether they might consider a big east coast or southeastern US city map. They have west coast as a large city map, so why not make a big city for the east as well?
You know, I wouldn't be surprised if the Wendover gets a sedan version (like it was originally planned to be) alongside the coupe as the Buick LeSabre and the Oldsmobile 88 of the same era offered both a coupe and sedan. I also did a little bit of research and the LeGran and Wendover (provided there's a sedan) could very well see police versions, as the Chevrolet Celebrity (a platform mate with the Cutlass Ciera, which is the car the LeGran, and especially it's facelift closely resembles) had a factory police package, and the Pontiac Bonneville (the obvious inspiration for the design and name of the original Wendover) saw use with a number of police forces, notably Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I would be very surprised if the developers stopped creating vehicles and maps for the game, considering they have developers specifically tasked and skilled at doing so. I also imagine getting to design levels and vehicles of your own must be quite fun for the developers, and, seeing as more content (presumably) draws in more customers and then of course increases revenue, i highly doubt they'd abandon it any time soon. As for the maps themselves, I personally wouldn't be surprised to see a snowy map in the future, as well as more European and possibly even Asian maps.
Im been thinking if the Wendover Will be like the Vivace/Tograc. I wonder if we will get a Sedan still ( imo i dont think so ) if we was to it will be like the GTA 4 Willard. It was So very sad it was a rare car i loved that thing. If not still gonna be sweet. I wonder will the engine have the 4 cyls. And a base model with a basic dash ? Also Legran seems to have not only the wagon. But will most likely have the new engine meshes also. As well as some other new unknown parts
NYC in BNG! --- Post updated --- I think snowy would be part of a better weather customization UI (user side, not map-maker side) rather than a new map style.
I'd expect maybe one 4cyl, but considering it's a personal luxury car, i wouldn't be surprised if it was all v6s with maybe a sole v8 at the maximum.
Would mostly be V6 only. The real vehicles were exclusively powered by the Buick 3.8 V6 that was also used in the Australian Commodores in the 1990's, But there is a possibility of a Transverse V8.
If we're talking about a new map, we need a (mostly) abandoned post-Soviet wasteland The Wendover seems to be a bit higher end than the Bonneville, perhaps even closer to Cadillacs which did have transverse V8 options. Mind you they were unreliable, underpowered gas guzzlers and you would probably be better off with a supercharged 3.8, but this is America, land of muh displacements All things considered, I think the Wendover has more in common with the Cadillac Seville STS (albeit even more luxurious and generous with tech!) than the Pontiac Bonneville, mainly judging from the interior.
I completely forgot about Asia when writing my previous post, we still miss a Japanese map with a city and a mountain pass! That´s a map a lot of people would love to have. I could imagine a 4x4 km map featuring a city the size of Shibukawa, a mountain pass and a little bit of a highway like on Italy. I would also love to see a Wangan/Osaka Loop Route inspired map. You could stuff a quite a lot of highway in 4x4 km, and there still is the possibility of extending that size, even though it can get buggy upwards of around 30x30 km.
If a Japanese map would be an option, Ibishu Factory or something like that would be awesome. We have... Wait, how much we have Ibishu? Aw yes: 6. Somewhere mid-late 90`s.
So I'm going to be stupid once again and upload a drawing that I spent too much time making in MS Paint. It's the Soliad Badge, the general outline of it is pretty much what is confirmed based on the Twitter page. What's on the inside is different things I cobbled together based on different things, none of which are actually confirmed. The third one I spent too much time on for something that's obviously a joke.
You did A great job! The last one reminds me of the Concept from Bitron B2. Put random object as main logo
