Thats a opinion i can agree with. Lets just hope unlovely remastered cars like the Grand Marshal will really shine some day because it just isnt enough what happened to it. i will not even start on other vehicles because we all mentioned enough we all know where the work needs to be done. Have a great day boys & girls nice to have these threads to discuss things!
@WhatNot98 @I<3ChickenWings&V8 Please be quiet about the "UpDaTe Is uNdErWheLmiNg," when you haven't even bothered to do a few clicks to see the change log. A part from a MAJOR facelift and configs addon for Legrand, we got a totally new vehicle. ALSO, please just take a second to read all this before calling the update underwelming without having any clue what goes into an update. Spoiler alert: The list is long. https://www.beamng.com/game/news/patch/beamng-drive-v0-22/
the widgeon's quadricyclical nature is is quite intriguing, especially considering that it appears to be an earlier model than the pigeon we know, having more of a late-70s design. I wonder if this also entails adding an earlier facelift to the pigeon, or perhaps a later 4-wheeled pigeon, like a daihatsu midget II? could both vehicles be getting a 3-wheeled early version, and a 4-wheeled late version?
I wouldn't expect the Wigeon to get a 3 wheeled version, because it wouldn't really make sense to have 2 trikes when 1 is enough to represent this unique archetype. But a 4-wheeled Pigeon wouldn't be a bad idea since this vehicle doesn't have much content and this would really help, it would also give actual space in the engine bay, allowing for a bigger engine.
Thank god you aren´t a dev or Admin. I stated my opinion politely on things i like or don´t like and won´t shut up about my opinion because you want it. In terms of content the update was pretty underwhelming in my opnion. Many small changes apart from the obvious added content don´t always make up for that. it just my opinion as you have yours. Lets hope the devs can carry on their good work and further improve the game and their skills so this already amazing project can thrive further and keep its rightful monopol position as the Nr.1 driving & softbody sim it certainly deserves. have a good one.
Can you stop already, yeah we get you have a different opinion, but stop acting like everyone is attacking you because of it.
I don´t do. but lets keep it here because we are already spammed the thread enough with this discussion.
The new Car looks very cool, but in my opinion its not ibushu enough it shares no visible parts with the Pigeon and looks amost excactly like a bond bug with four wheels
The car looks interesting, something to represent the times of the oil crisis, but I still think that we are missing older European cars. We’ve got the Autobello then a massive gap then the I-Series then another massive gap and then there are the modern cars. Something smaller from the late 60s early 70s wouldn’t go amiss. For now, I’ll be waiting for the Ibishu Wigeon to give it a better assessment, it looks like it would be fun to drive although I hope that unlike the Picolino it will receive some more appropriate basic engine.
Yeah, it was also on Instagram and probably Twitter I have a speculation idea: the render has pretty cool graphics and the body has metallic paintjob. Could we hope for proper metallic paints?
It probably has the pigeon i3, and a more powerful 1.5L DOHC I4 swap as well. It might even have it's own engines, in that case you can expect a 1000cc I4
Since it is Japanese, I'd expect something along the line of a 360 cc two-stroke engine as the standard engine for such a car. It would be more than enough.
I too would love to see a two-stroke in BeamNG! It would be perfect in something along the lines of the Saab 93/96, DKW F89/F91/F93/3=6, IFA F9 or Wartburg 311/312/353 although the smaller two-strokes like the IFA F8, Trabant 500/600/601 or Saab 92 are also great! It is possible that it would receive an electric motor version many of these cars that were made during the oil crisis had also an electric version typically painfully slow, but it would add another level to that car, and it would also enable some quite crazy modifications.
I'm not so sure such a cheap/simple car would get many factory options, but there's certainly a lot of fun aftermarket options. Superbike motors and modern electric swaps both sound fun for cheap track toy configs.
