If you noticed, the building lights on WCUSA works at night, but it doesnt glow. Hopefully they will fix it next update

 

Yeah I think we should stay away from using the devs private stuff because we cant accurately predict what will happen with the game at the end with an update.

it has a propeller engine and red dot on the wing, seems japanese enough to warrant JRI being in japan
unless the BeamNG Cinematic Universe had some fallout styled mid war deviation and hawaii ended up stolen from the US,other than that i would just assume hawaii being a placeholder location

 

There's a ton of islands in the Pacific between Japan and North America/Australia.

Many of them were contested, and lots had planes crash into them. I wouldn't call it hardline evidence the map is Japanese,

But it certainly points at whereabouts it is.

 

Seeing all this, I doubt the island is in japan. I think the plane is a reference to the attack on pearl harbor, if anything.

 

If anything its a reference to ww2, no idea why they should change this map to be japanese, if we'd get a japanese map i bet it would be generic japanese high density city with cool highway plus japanese suburbia and maybe japanese countryside jri would benefit at all from a japanese setting.

 

I wonder if we will see mod that makes that thing fly?

that has been in the game at least since 0.21, I do not have access to developer versions anyways
