the little arrows on the right of 'Creator_Branch' and 'QA_Stable' mean its up to date with the public branch... so basically nothing useful. EDIT: NVM ignore me I looked at the wrong image
Well if's that case. why do we have a trailer that has devlog link and even confirms what version this will be?
Since I screwed up my last post, let me try this again xD Interesting thing to note about this, this creator branch build is quite close to QA_Latest. This would make sense if the creator_branch is designed for certain creators to have early access to the new update to say, update mods or check compatibility or something like that.
SO with Hype getting out of hand. Being 3 mouthsish. 1 if it was not soon maybe devs will go wait longer. 2 1 Leaked video. 3 We know what we getting ( kinda ) 4 The document photo of the launcher maybe this drops soon
Why do I feel like creator program has nothing to do with people who make mods but rather "content creators", also known as influencers. :|
It could be a mix, like how whybeare did(does?) those update videos. Get the update video ready on this build or something so when the time comes they can release it at the same time. Like review embargo for tech and stuff.
The build that they get would basically have to be complete already so essentially the rest of the community would have to wait just so a few YouTubers can get their early access.
Well yeah im assuming at this point the build is feature complete, its now just bugfixing and any really tiny things. Plus usually this stuff is not 'pausing for youtubers' just like tech youtubers getting engineering/ qualifying/ prototype samples of tech. Its basically the same thing the public gets but it just probably runs a bit worse and is not as stable. --- Post updated --- Imma guess another week or two, I would expect it to be in stable for a short bit before going out, at least a full day or two. While steamDB isnt reliable its still a good guesstimate.
Same here. I don’t wanna have high hopes, but there are many things that tell it could be tmr. Also, devs usually interfere, if we are totally wrong with something. But yeah 40% tomorrow or another week.
I love this community, I can't think of any other that is so hyped for anything related to their game and I'm the same lol I ditched every simracing tiltle for beam
For those trying to understand things with steamdb, qa_latest is basically the branch that is updazed till the release of the update, on the release of the update the qa_stable branch is update as it is the branch that is used for the pblic updates tldr: qa_latest is the development and testing branch and qa_stable is the public branch which has the version we all use right now --- Post updated --- and the last time we got an update the qa_latesrt branch was updated atleast once every hour in the final hoursl eading up to the update, so far today there was one update to it 5 hours ago, then one 4 hours ago, then one 3 hours ago, then one 2 hours ago and finally one 8 minutes ago, so the update seems to be very close to release considering the amount of updates we've been getting today
If the update comes out today it will be around 5pm CET so in ~3.5 hours but I'm more guessing that the update will come tomorrow, no need to get hyped over an update that isn't even coming out today for sure
I mean they said they want to switch to 3 month schedule. so it's very likely that tomorrow could be the day
I'm pretty sure they already switched over to the 3 month schedule a few years ago or atleast announced it like 1-2 years ago
Keep in mind the American devs probably haven't even woken up yet, let alone gone to work. Today is still possible
