Actually not. The K-Series has, basically the same size as a AMG GT and is just a little bit shorter than a SL, so, a V12 makes some sense.
The K-Series is based on a D-segment platform and it's about 20 cms shorter than the current SL, which is based on an E-segment platform instead, and never had a range of 4, 6 and 12 cylinder engines at the same time in its whole career. If anything, a V8 could make some sense. A V12...? Not so much... The AMG GT on the other hand is a dedicated, full-fledged sportscar - so, again, not in the same league as the K-Series - and still, it's only available with a V8 engine in various states of tune.
In my opinion, a V12 makes no sense for the K and 800 series... It could be under the hood of a huge sedan like a class S, a big SUV like a GLS or a super sport car like an Audi R8 or something like this... For a performance engine, I think the better choice is a 4.0 liters V8 with something like 500-600hp (and much more tuned) and a beautiful sound, just like the Audi RS6 for example
I do think any sort of V10/V12 would be best saved for at least an upscale cousin of the current ETK's, if not an entirely new platform. They really aren't the right market segment for something like that. IMO give both of them an in house tuning company spec with a V8.
The only thing we have there is the facelift D-Series and facelift Roamer, would be nice to get a car that starts at that time period, preferably a European minivan, this all adds up to a large missing archetype
Wait, wasn't the Wigeon a fun enthusiastic kit-car-ish based on the Pigeon? On the list the Pigeon is younger
On the wiki the dates are not the same than in the game and I used the wiki ones for the 2 first ones. I use the in game date for the third one (just a 2 years change). --- Post updated --- yeah but idk how to make one
What i dont understand is why the 800 series was only built from 2013 to 2017 most of the cars the 800 is copying were buit way longer at that time. The F30 BMW for example was built from 2011-2019 The A4 had a model change the first one was built from 2007-2015 and the gen after from 2015 till now The Mercedes was built from 2014 till this year. What i mean by saying that is that most german cars were built way longer and had a facelift between it so it would make sence to make a facelift of the 800 thats produced till 2021 or so.
I think that the 800 series needs a 2017-2020 facelift, with more modern equipment, less BMW design and maybe hybrid
Since you all are arguing if it would be real or if it would make sense to have a V10 or V12 in the modern ETK's, allow me to quote Diamondback from a few pages ago
For your second datasheet, I will just inform you of the mistake that the Legran actually also has a wagon/estate body in its variants and is therefore missing from the "wagon" category.
Also an American minivan like Chrysler/Dodge Caravan or Ford Windstar/Freestar. And an early to mid 2000s Japanese crossover SUV similar to the earlier generations of Honda CR-V
Honestly I just want a minivan, period. Also, does anyone remember the bolide revamp rumor that came from an update trailer, .20 i believe it was? What’s the status on that?
On hold, stoat said that the revamp isn’t gonna happen for awhile because others are gonna get revamped before it
