Could just as easily be unused content, although the Moonhawk will be remastered at some point just like every other vehicle
Ah yes, the Moonvette Not quite how I imagined facelifted taillights but not complaining, at least there will be a difference from pre-facelift now. I wonder if there are any other unused parts.
Idk just every time I see dual circle taillights like this I think of a Corvette, maybe because I used the Vendetta mod too much lol They kinda look similar Now I want a Dom config for Moonhawk remaster lol
considering there's said to be a bit of chevelle/monte carlo inspiration in the moonhawk, they may be styling it to look like the 73 chevelle, with flush bodywork wrapping right around the taillights:
those look way better than the generic ones we got right now... that front end could use a slight redesign too.
"Alt" Moonhawk parts are for the pre-facelift version, as the pre-facelift was added long after the original Moonhawk was added to the game (2013 for the Moonhawk, 2015 for the pre-facelift parts).
What I hope for is more engines for the Moonhawk. Actual low-priced midsizers from that time had a wide variety of engines (250/250/225, 307/302/318, 350/351/360, 400s, 454/460/440), but the dev team just threw an I6 and a V8 in and walked away for 8 years.
I'm hopeful for a landau top, oh and a T Top body style as a few personal luxury coupes had T Top body styles back in the 70's.
another thing to consider with the moonhawk, the legran remaster brought with it the wendover, and the pigeon remaster brought the wigeon, so the moonhawk will likely have a platform cousin introduced with its remaster. but what could it be? the first possibility I consider is a 70s unibody compact, resembling a gremlin/pinto/vega. It goes with their current theme of vehicles which are underrepresented in other games, and could have quite the variety for content, but it wouldn't share any of the floorpan being unibody, and it would likely encroach on the moonhawk and legran's territory in some places. Alternatively, I'd somewhat expect another soliad counterpart, perhaps a 70s wendover, resembling various enormous FWD Personal luxury coupes of the era. alternatively, they may plop the drivetrain of this into a more heavily redesigned car, possibly going as far as something corvette-ish.
I totaly agree with the fact the there's a possibility to have a Soliad variant of the Moonhawk. A sedan and a Wagon would fit perfectly for different Moonhawk's bodies !
If the Wendover follows in the Pontiac Bonneville's footsteps, the predecessor would most likely be something similar to the Bluebuck but more premium and sporty. Talking about American Fullsize cars. the Grand Marshall chassis would allow for a 1980's fullsize sedan as real life equivalents used chassis dating back to the late 70's.
Moonhawk was one ( in 2013 ) Advanced cars for the time. The engine mesh was the most detailed for the day. Now Even with a Moving fan. Then there was the mod that gave us wagons utes sedans. And more. Sadly the years went on and i dont use it anymore. With some things added in 2015ish. But i think this car needs a remaster IMO
Yeah that's true, even if I think that some Japanese cars need to be remastered.... Anyway, with any car, a remaster is always a good news !
