Update Speculation thread

Let's wait this awesome update!

 

Kind of unrelated to anything we’re talking about, but any guesses as to what the new car they teased will be? My guess is a modern muscle car as it reminds of a charger and has Garvil design language as someone showed about a week ago. But what are your thoughts?

 

I still think the update will be the first week of december

 

The devblog of 0.24 will be 10 pages long

 

Since we had some teasers, I'm pretty sure that we will have it this month, maybe on the first half who knows ?

But I don't think that it will be released in December

 

Tdev said mid november at the earliest

 

Meaning The update could come anywhere between mid November and early to mid December, depending on how ironing out bugs goes.

 

i think it will be mid-november, since the big teaser. they probably wouldnt post such a big teaser if it was being released in december

 

An interesting anecdotal prediction of a release date:

I deactivate all mods upon a new update, and then slowly readd as I want/need. Normally, the updates come out between 95-98 mods. Now, I have 102 - personal record - which falls in line with the expanded schedule. My best bet is by around 105-106, we get the update.

 

The sky still looks exactly the same as it did since they last touched night-time

Why not?

 

Don't you think that being dripfed teasers once a week is enough? Especially with all this new content? If they release a new teaser at all before the next update, I will be really surprised.

 

Agree with that although I do think they'll release another teaser before the update. Last update, they pretty much revealed the entire update (excluding gridmap 2.0) in the week before it came.


EDIT: Actually, the day before it came. They released a pigeon remaster and wigeon teaser as well as a PBR teaser on the same day.

 

To be fair it's fairly accurate to the GM vans of the late 90's, especially the passenger variants.

 

Ford E250 basically has cartoony over the top fascia. I don't see the problem with that new Hseries fascia at all.

 

i think the van looks good overall, especially the curvy bodykit

 

Devs told about big update, so maybe we will get mp?

 

MP is really hard in BeamNG and not all people have Heavy Duty systems...
