"I have a friend who works at Beamng. He only has a minor role (having to listen to karens complaining about problems with the game), but one day, he heard some of the workers there talk." I can see it. I don't believe it but I can see the possibility. In any case, I stand by what I said earlier.
As much as I want to believe you, I just can't. Namely because the devs are very secretive, but also because of the cars that came out BEFORE the 200BX (released in 0.3.8.1) and have not received a public remaster: Ibishu Covet (0.3) (Just a few configs and a new engine were added) Civetta Bolide (0.3) (We all know about that ) Gavril H-Series (0.3) (Happening soon ) Hirochi Sunburst (0.3.6) (No signs of that happening yet) Bruckell Moonhawk (0.3.0.4) (Maybe coming soon???) Gavril T-Series (0.3.6) (No signs of that EVER happening) I think this is fake. However, even if this IS real, don't you think it is a little bit mean to go and backstab them like that? If the devs want info to be known, they would do a teaser or something.
Not to jump down your throat, seeing as I mostly agree, but D-series came first, afaik, and legran got a remaster, as did the D-series, and the pigeon - all rather old cars.
Not much, other than the better way of looking at it would be subjective quality as opposed to age. Since the sunburst really isn't in that bad shape at the moment.
I guess you are right, but the 200BX was supposed to get a Gavril V8 swap, which has not happened yet. It was said back in 2013, so it should've been in there by now. It might be part of the "remaster"
Bruh this argument is comparable to back when people thought that some stuff they found in Car Killer's pictures was a new car but it turned out to be a mod... Speculating based on things you only saw or heard is not the best thing because it will most likely turn out to be false. Maybe let's just wait until tomorrow for a teaser so we have a speculation topic with solid proof.
I'm gonna say you're making this up for a number of reasons. Back in the day I was on much better terms with the developers and talked to them quite often and they never revealed future plans. They are under NDAs and legally cannot disclose that information without approval from higher ups. BeamNG clearly has a priority list for vehicle remasters as implied by Stoat when he talked about the Bolide remaster. It's hard to believe that the trailers are higher priority for remastering than the 200bx. The trailers are a lot simpler than a normal car, so even if they were somehow "higher priority", I still highly doubt they'd delay a remaster for them. This whole thing reeks of "my dad works at Nintendo" and I can't believe that some of the people here are taking this seriously.
If your firend would have really told this to you he most likely would've broken his contract since from what I know most comapnies in germany don't allow you to tell company secrects to others and that can be fined and your friend would most likely have a nda contract which would not allow him to say this to others anyways
I believe the new car will be a Gavril in form of Modern Muscle not a Hirochi since the Sunburst is fairly new. But i dont give up hopes it could come with a 2 door bodystyle even if there is no evidence yet because in my opinion it would be perfect to resemble two modern muscle cars in one. 4-door Charger paired with a 2-door Challenger maybe even in an Hellcat or Demon inspired Top of the line config! Share your opinions with me guys&girls im bored out of my mind.
They're under the same corporation, just different divisions. Think Honda i.e. Cars, motorcycles, generators, etc. Yamaha Music division actually helped 'tune' the sound of the intake and exhaust alongside the engineering team on the new MT-09.
Okay, but the Civetta Bolide is frankly pretty shit and they've stated they aren't working on it. It's also one of the oldest cars that I distinctly remember used to snap steering linkages if you tried to turn the wheel. Which, for Italian engineering is realistic, as it adds more excitement to the driving experience. Why actually would a trailer even need a remaster? It's a straight undriven axle with maybe some leaf springs. At least Nintendo is a larger company that's more likely to have someone's dad working at.
