Lets speculate a bit to kill the time. Do you guys think there will be an RV Config on the Van and do you think it will get to look like the old RV mod from EcoNadder? i sure hope there will be one since there is nothing in terms of recreational vehicle content
Well, for the record, I have seen a lot more updates on the steamdb page the last 2 days compared to last week.Tdev last i checked, hasn't been online since nov 5th
Okay, now there are quite no possibilities for a teaser, so in my opinion, they'll tease something big next week (or maybe even the week after !) and we'll have the update on the Wednesday/Tuesday
I'm really hoping there is an RV configuration since such a car is one of the most recognizable conversions made to a Van (and since there hasn't been any automotive camper in the official content of the game up until now). Along with the RV, I'm also hoping for the Travel Trailer to have a larger 2-axle version sometime in the future.
I looked a bit at precious teasers and the time frame for them was pretty consistent so my guess is to expect the new teaser to come anywhere between 19:00 and 22:00 cet time zone
There can be possibly two versions of RV: But if H-Series wouldn't be american then also this: or I don't know about any american vans that have sleeping space within the roof like this.
I hope they implement more Offroad focused stuff in the future. I mean Crawler and Pre Runners are nice but it still needs Offroad parts. Where are the Offroad Trailers, Aftermarket Canopy for the D-Series, Winches, the Roamer is still in need of the D-Series Rock Sliders but a mod could do the trick nicely. And lastly i personally would wish for an japanese suv from the 90s maybe late 80s with an iconic I6 Diesel. Share your thoughts on this with me folks!
I think American RVs are large enough to not need a rooftop sleeping space. I've only seen this on European Vans. If a Euro Van enters BeamNG sometime in the future, such a solution will make sense!
Yes some do but look at others the one's that came out at 16:00 were teasers of revamps at least the last ones meanwhile the new car teaser 19:00 the wigeon teasers came put at 19:54 and 19:38 so it's safe to say that it's probably going to come in around an hour
The Roamer needs the Rock Sliders and the Tubular Off-Road Bumpers/Zeta Rear Bumper. A 90s Japanese SUV (being smaller than the Roamer and larger than the Hopper) would be really nice, either with a BOF or a Unibody design. A BOF design can also base a Pick-Up Truck, with the same engines. A Diesel Inline-4 is fitting but a Diesel Inline-6 could really do wonders to such cars, as long as they're Ibishu models. Hirochi has to be more interesting than that: the existing 2.0 and 2.5 Flat-4s, along with a Flat-6 and a Boxer Diesel could characterize Hirochi as the Boxer brand in BeamNG!
Considering how saturated the 80's-90's Japanese segment in-game already is, I'd love to see them go the 70's light pickup route. I didn't know flat-four diesels even existed until just now, and now I want one. Also seeing how much of the SBR's design screams Panamera/German, a mean flat-six would be super welcome, but that seems more befitting of an even lighter, sportier roadster from Hirochi, which is also super welcome :b
I think no era is saturated since the Japanese SUV and Pick-Up Truck kinds of cars aren't represented yet. But the 70s light Pick-Up Truck is a very nice proposition, along with a 70s square and basic SUV based on the same frame (I'm thinking of the Land Cruiser FJ55 in this slot)! Yes, Flat-4 diesels are actually a thing! They're being made by Subaru and they're being put in the Forester and, iirc, in the Outback as well! And a 3.0l Flat-6 was also put in the Legacy, in the 2003 generation! The SBR4 would be really nice with a Flat-6, it would upgrade its social status! But yeah, a small and light premium FR sports car by Hirochi, powered by the 2.0l F4 would also be nice!
I think of some thing like an late 80s to mid 90s Toyota Land Cruiser esque car it fitted the most iconic I4 & I6 Diesels ever made the 1KZ-TE as the legendary 4banger nick named the "africa diesel" and the legendary 1HD 12 or 24 Valve I6. I know we have the roamer but it is and ever will be an american comfort suv with slight offroad capabilities (modified it is of course beefy like anything modified) so having a jap truck or suv of this period would be really neat.
That's a majestic name for a Midsize Japanese SUV, it's very fitting! It could also be called the "Ibishu Wanderer" or the "Ibishu Hiker"!
