Update Speculation thread

Sorry to bring the thread back to this, but any educated guesses as to when the update will arrive?

 

My money goes to no more than 2-3 weeks from now on.

 

My Guess Is maximuy next 2 - 3 weeks based on the fact that it's been in it's qa phase for some time now

 

next couple of weeks
from the info we already have, i’d say any minute between Nov 25 and Dec 15

 

My bet Is probably November 22nd why?
Because the pessima teaser was relesed on 12 October, the fridge teaser was relesed on the 22 of October and the van remaster teaser was relesed on the 2nd of November so maybe

 

the less time the devs spend making teaser tuesdays the more time they spend working on fixing nasty bugs for the next update.

in a sense i think i like it better if there is no teaser Tuesday, it means they are working hard on the update. could be soon™

cant wait to see the nice stuff they got for us this update.

 

How do you know that members of the creator program have the update?

I may be incorrect but iirc that branch got updated recently, don’t hold me to that statement though lol

I’d put my money on the 2nd of December if that’s the case, 22nd of November seems a bit early

If the creator program seems to have it, and has had it for ~5 days now, I'm actually somewhat confident that it'll be out this week or next. I normally don't make bold predictions like this but if the creator program has it then the devs are probably confident enough in the update to allow for people to already start making their videos on it.

 

and how do we know the creator program has it

 

that would be interesting to know

 

"i can say that its in the middle of being qa tested as its basically public info through steam.db. generally the qa push is 2-3 weeks before the public push iirc"

said by someone in the creator program so they most definitely have it already

 

And also notice that the Creator program has a higher build than the public build
