The fact they used the remastered pessima touring config to advertise beam on steam sale could possible mean the update isn´t that far away or am i on the wrong lead?

 

The devs just edited the picture to make it look more cinematic, it's not the first time they did

 

It certainly means the remastered Pessimas aren't that far from being part of the official content!

 

If it's the case, maybe the map will be bigger
I always wanted to cruise beyond the road obstructed by the falling trees ^^

 

I assume they made the pic some time ago assuming the update would be out by this time, but the update took a bit longer than expected

 

Yeah, but never for add a feature that wouldn't exist ingame.
Beam dev love to hide some details in their teaser/images ^^
I really thinks that this is an hidden feature
(And a rwd swap for a race config is totally possible)

 

Knowing the Beam devs, they wouldn’t put a car in an ad unless it was coming soon (spider pigeon doesn’t count.)

They said this update is going to take more time than usual and we can expect it mid november earliest so it's still perfectly in time, it cannot take more time than expected - it's ready when it's ready. When its ready and new car is finished they will release more info about it and drop the update don't worry.

They just decided that the revamped pessima should be in the steam sale pic and that doesn't mean that update is coming soon just because of that, yes, it will come regardless

 

Yeah, like the rock crawler Hopper, it was exposed just some days before the update

 

What i meant to say is maybe they expected the update to be out before the sale and that's why they used the Pessima in the ad, or maybe they just teased it intentionally idk

 

Seems a new picture was released of the Updated Pessima in an AD on their Instagram Story

 

Or maybe the autumn steam sale is starting today and they just made a post for 20% off using an image of the new pessima (of which they didn't show anything new we haven't seen already a while ago). so your argument is shaky at best but still, we are just speculating

there better be performance fixes in this new update, I'm sick of getting 40fps on normal on a 3 thousand dollar computer

 

Yes, maybe ^^ and it's seem to be a bit too far from now for a release date.
But after the automation map, the new config and RWD drivetrain for Pessima, i'm pretty sure that could have some other small things hidden by the dev in it (why not!)
