I doubt that it will have the ancient Wendover engines nor have modern counterparts with the exact same displacements. My guess is they will rather range from 3.5l up to 6.2l Would be more suitable for the vehicle it will be. even tho fairly many speculate on that i doubt it will receive a four pot
How is the WK2 Durango related to the LD Charger aside from engines and model years? I mean, there was some weird rumors about the S650 Mustang related the the Explorer, but I'm pretty sure all those turned out to be false.
I personally love the Bruckell Bastion, maybe because I am a muscle car fan. It has sexy lines, and I bet it will be my default car, specially in a naturally aspirated V8 version with a manual gearbox. As for its engines, I believe it will have a V6 or a turbocharged inline 4 for the base trims, and the more powerful versions will have V8 engines, either naturally aspirated or supercharged.
Judging by real life modern fullsize US cars. the engines would range from a V6 between 3.0 and 4.0 litres to a V8 around 7 litres (usually around 6.5). Really if Bruckell/Soliad seem to have a strong GM like flavor, the best bet would be to look at the engines of the last gen Commodore for reference.
I found some things in the console heavily implying a future multiplayer mode. Did anybody else notice this and by chance know that it means something else?
Engine will be a Fiat TwinAir 0.9L 2 cylinder Jokes aside, these are my guesses Base model No optionals, nothing fancy - 3.5L V6 (~260 hp) - RWD and AWD - 6 spd manual or 6 spd automatic - taxi version Mid-range model Some optionals like bigger wheels, better infotainment, sportier exterior - 2.5L turbo I4 (~320 hp) - RWD or AWD - 6 spd manual or 8 spd automatic Top-end GT version Full optional, digital dashboard, GT wide bodykit - 4.5L supercharged V8 (~410 hp) - RWD or AWD - 6 spd manual or 8 spd automatic - police package Special edition #1 Hellcat-like edition with more power, special decals and wheels - 6.0L supercharged V8 (~650 hp) - RWD only - 6 spd manual only Special edition #2 Demon-like edition with even more power, special decals, wider bodykit, special wide rear tires, carbon fiber hood, roof and trunk - 6.0L supercharged V8 (~800 hp) - RWD only - 8 spd automatic only - drag variant with thin front tires and no passenger seats Race version Built following V8 Supercars rules - 5.0 V8 (~650 hp) - RWD - 6 spd sequential
Heeey wouldn't that be what atv was talking about ? Also welcome back to the forums, been a while since you posted here !
If the 200bx gets a remaster, how does a fastback version sound? Also, I know it's a bit late, but I am so happy we're finally getting not only a modern performance sedan that the Sunburst can finally compete with, but it's a modern Bruckell at that!!
even if it gives you that vibe, I seriously doubt the devs would be slow enough to call it an "American muscle car" and have it be a dodge dart type vehicle but who knows for certain
Not sure, I probably wasn't active when that happened. Ay thanks man! Yeah, it's definitely been some time since I last was active here on the forums
If the Bruckell Bastion follows the specifications of a real life Charger strictly, that would mean only having AWD on the V6 models, and RWD exclusively for the V8's. I do know that from 2007 - 2016 (2015-2016 afaik was only fleet sales for cops) the Charger was offered with AWD, but is not anymore. Seeing as how the car shown in the teaser pics seems to be a new body car I highly doubt that we'll see a V8 model with AWD, that is if the Bastion closely follows the Charger's specifications which it may not since the neat thing about BeamNG is that cars aren't heavily tied down to having to resemble a irl car perfectly. Here's a video on the topic that I found on youtube
I'm wondering if the moonhawk is also going to get a light remaster/config reshuffle with the release of the bastion, like the grand marshal did with the release of the bluebuck. and as far as AWD goes, I wouldn't be surprised if it's not included for future game balance. As if currently stands, you could max upgrade something like a D-series, which will give you AWD and 1200hp, but a pretty floppy chassis with at best imprecise handling, or alternatively, something like a hillclimb vivace, which also has AWD and a nice tight modern chassis, but is limited to about 700hp. a max upgraded AWD bastion would likely have neither of these drawbacks, making it unfairly fast for the multiplayer/campaign missions which they likely have planned.
