So the next update could have a TOTAL overhaul of the UI, with both code and graphics changes to everything. I'm kinda disappointed that they haven't implemented the thing with vehicle chassis codes that appear in selector, so maybe the update will have it.
I dont think career mode will come this year. Because why would they release the update as part 1 and part 2 in such a short time? Career mode would be such a big feature that no one would have complained if they would have dropped the update at the end of this month. Only reason would be to not have too many bugs at once but idk. Releasing the update with a car in one of the following hotfixe releases without any more big things (like career mode) seems way more likely because they already did this with another update. But we might see some other content like new configs or probs. And if we are really lucky we might see PBR for a new map.
https://www.beamng.com/threads/update-speculation-thread.20246/page-1828#post-1391389 he actually said physics and gameplay related, sorry.
I don't know, he and @Sithhy seems pretty close to the devs though. One thing is sure, this guy knows a lot about cars. You can find a very detailed post about ffb on his discussion feed.
Since someone brought up career mode as a possibility for the update, what do you guys think the update could have aside from the bastion? PS, this and my message earlier about bastion content speculation have both been attempts to keep this thread sane.
You could just regulate the specs for certain campaign missions. Would be pretty bummer just to leave that out because of a c Since this would be suitable: I really hope they throw in some love for the Moonhawk like they did with the GM on the Bluebuck release
Ühh no. What i meant was that i would be neat to have some moonhawk content or a little WIP remaster along with the new Bastion since they are both more or less related like the GM and the Bluebuck was.
Yeah, that was not in the slightest what i meant. a little WIP remaster for the start like the GM would be nice and i dont think it would be too much work till christmas since there hasn´t much changed on the GM remaster. The interior wasnt even touched.
possibly earlier. I thing one week after the update was released, we will get a fix for th Or switch off traffic. Than it works too. But clearly very good thing they added. With 10 cars spawned on WCUSA, FPS drops just about ~2-5 FPS. Before the update it was about ~10 FPS
This one is huge, Multiplayer through BeamMP is a lot smoother at higher playercounts with this update.
The 800 series is in a completely different size class. The Bastion would fit in the European "executive" size class, while the 800 would be under the compact executive class. It would be a lot different if we had a modern I series. Surprised that no one posted this yet. because 0.24.
Spongebob clips are always welcome here. Have a like. It actually fits quite well since most people think part 2 of the update, 0.25 presumably, is going to be better than 0.24.
