As long as we get a car or map im happy. What i really want is police lights. Not just the light-bar but lights in the grille windows have the headlights and taillights blink in like 2-3 different patterns.
Ouch, guys chill. I've never said that " let's rush the devs for updates!!!111!!!". No I also don't want devs to rush their progress, since they are the best game developers in game business. But, please guys chill.
Personal speculation, I think we'll get the Hopper in 0.9, then I think we might get a big load of stuff for a 0.95 update or so, maybe holding WCUSA off until Italy is done and POSSIBLY another car. Or they might bundle WCUSA and the Hopper if WCUSA is completed. Honestly I have no goddamn idea.
I'd appreciate seeing B with an optional free order of A! Anyone else remember back in the good ol' days when there were experimental branches? I'd love to see those come back again, anyone else?
Only that Minecraft "experimental builds" are more.. bug free than the BeamNG stuff. Surely minecraft is a bit more easy to work with and Mojang is a much bigger studio than BeamNG. But still
I think BeamNG is not so small studio Mojang was not so big studio before they were bought by Micro$oft neither. I guess.
I was thinking of that too, but I was a bit nervous to bring it up, since I know how a lot of people hate Minecraft. I think that doing small updates that gradually adds content of the bigger upcoming update could work. It'd obviously have its pros and cons. Here are some I can think of. Anyone here is invited to add more to the list. Pros: - We wouldn't have to wait as long - Access to future content is made available sooner - A lot of users would be much happier Cons: - There'd be a higher risk for bugs - It could be more stressful for the devs - A lot of users could be made angry by how prevalent bugs might be, adding even more stress to the devs
So make a separate beta branch, like how you can select the DX9 version. By the way, is DX12 or vulcan planned?
We had a experimental branch. The forum was flooded with "why iz my modz not working" or "my game is broken" type threads.. even though it had a big warning that stated the experimental branch was for testing purposes only.. So the devs got rid of that branch, personally I loved was updated frequently with new features and whole bunch of stuff.
Very few people have GPUs that support DX12 so it would negatively affect most of the playerbase unless the devs wait maybe 5 or so years.
http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey According to the Steam hardware survey, around 75% of people have DX12 ready systems.
