Yes but they still have imperfections on them. Plus the engine options don't include engines other than Inline-4s and -6s.

Regarding remasters I can't help but feeling in a hamster wheel... When we'll finish the current cycle of remasters (maybe 2 years from now) the first remasters will be in need of a remaster and... here we go again...

Remember, this game is still in alpha... I know that there are different teams for cars, maps, physics, controls, sound... and ?game play? but does it make sense for a game still in this stage after so many years to focus on fine tuning or adding configurations to current vehicles?

There is a thing called modding that should satisfy the need of adding V8s to whatever car however senseless, so what's with this remaster without game craze?

Why are we now advocating for the community to do the devs job? Why is the idea of game developers developing a game now a thing up for debate? Bringing content up to current standards is not something that should be controversial, and the idea of the community finishing an explicitly not-finished vehicle instead of the game devs is absurd. What is this, Bethesda or EA now? It's not like ignoring content and letting quality standards be all over the place will improve gameplay; a good game needs both.

And how is a V8 K/800-Series not sensible when IRL counterparts have V8 options, and the vehicle team director specifically said bigger engines will be available for her?

hear me out here, i think that the next update will bring, since it's the 25th update, something REALLY big
i think that we may get a late 1970's version of the Barstow based off of a 1977-1981 camaro, and even another car that i'm gonna call the Burnside Phoenix as just sort of a placeholder, based off the legendary-ish 1977-1981 pontiac firebird, both cars including targa tops, drag versions, derby variants, and some other stuff
also this is just sort of a "i want dis ting", but maybe a mountainous map based in southeastern europe could exist

damn i just made a whole text wall on something that probably won't ever happen

They also seem way too light for what they are, might just be me though.

I'd say their feel is just what someone expects a modern German car to exude, tbh.
    --- Post updated ---
Very well said mate, these are exactly the words I was thinking (plus the 1.5 Inline-3 couple of gas and diesel choices for the engine options, since even an engine like that makes sense in a car being about the size and weight of the Cherrier Vivace :p)! ;)

though it should also be mentioned that the legran's remaster seems to have been fast tracked to coincide with the release of the wendover.

another thing about the K-series, they mentioned upon its release that:
this likely included the oft-mentioned V8 and TTsport variants, but also more than likely a functional convertible.
the current config names consist of "Kc", the c is likely an add-on to specify it as a "coupe" variant, with K either referring to "Kurz" or "Kabriolett".
on top of this, TDK has mentioned a couple of times that convertibles are on hold while they figure out audio raytracing, in order to simulate the dynamic cabin muffling properly.
because of this, I'd imagine the K series is being held back overall on the basis of the convertible top, otherwise, why would it have taken over 5 years to add another engine variant to a car?

Except the new Bolide has targa configs, so this doesn't quite track to me. Perhaps they are holding it back on the basis of the convertible, perhaps they just haven't gotten to it. I could see them wanting to release a new engine as part of a larger remaster package, too, instead of just a standalone thing.

Not to mention hopper convertibles have existed since 2017.

I think there's also the technical aspect of animating a convertible top correctly, where the hopper or bolide simply have something that comes off with a couple of breakgroups, only about six people have successfully made a folding soft top, all to varying degrees of refinement, but if they want to make a hardtop convertible, as many german GTs of the era were, then that's adding way more complexity.

I do think the next new vehicle should either be a modern European van or a modern European truck. As the H series and T Series don't fit well in Italy.

The European van could work as a Successor to the H series, as alot of American van companies have phased out their BOF V8 vans and replaced them with European based ones.

The European truck could be Scandinavian as we lack a vehicle from those countries plus Scania and Volvo are quite popular truck companies. There are mods for this but something official that is likely to be kept in date would be preferable.

I think 0.25 will be another big update with new remasters of cars/maps maybe even new cars or maps. Maybe more big gameplay changes like we got the map and missions this update. Also I think this will be a bigger update because 0.5 and 0.15 were also really big updates.

    Update 0.5 added
    - 1989 Ibishu Pessima (needs remaster)
    - Burnside Special (needs remaster)
    - Etk 800-Series (needs remaster)
    - Ibishu Miramar (needs remaster)
    - Etk K-Series (needs remaster)
    - Utah USA (had remaster)
-Tuning Menu, Fire, Glass Breaking and Tire Popping Sounds, Node Grabber, Engine Thermal Simulation, Scenarios, and more stuff

    Update 0.15 added
    - Autobello Piccolina (needs remaster)
    - Italy (needs PBR)
    - New sounds, Scenarios, and other stuff

I am guessing 0.25 could drop in April or May since it could be another big update for the game.

They won't be starting over to do another set of remasters once they are done, they are just making older ones to match the current level of quality, and I doubt they will be going too crazy with pushing the limits of how detailed vehicles can be. At most we will be seeing some extra parts being added to the existing remastered cars to fill some voids in each category and fixing some issues with them, as going for a second overhaul with all the vehicles would just be ridiculous.

We all know the Piccobello can't be called complete when the most important thing is missing:

I totally agree with this, even if I do think that the rest of the car doesn't really need a complete remaster

100% agree with the fact 0.25 will be a MASSIVE update. Say what you want to say, but I think career mode is finally just around the corner. They’ve got a bunch of the basis for it, like walking mode, the map, etc, and 0.25 is such a big milestone, that the devs are probably like “its about time.” It’s really perfect timing. Other possibilities for the “big feature” are simulated engine sounds, or a new map since we haven’t gotten one in a while. The “minor” features could be remasters of cars (I’d say the moonhawk and the modern etks are the front runners for that, considering the bastion got released and ETKDEC got remastered) and maps (my bet’s italy since its a big map, in need of a big remaster.) Any other guesses?

0.25: should be more global than last spring update
