IIRC they are bound to foglights. Check your control setting to see what foglights are bound to.

Damn guys, a lot of speculation for just havong the Update drop.

Most Japanese manufacturers had seprate 4 and 6 cylinder sportscars in the 90s, so I find this unlikely. Especially considering that the 200BX is a near carbon-copy of the 200SX.

    What about NSU and GM?

    So?

This could be used for an AMC-style independent (and probably defunct) American manufacturer.

Am I the only one who thought that I-series looked different?

I feel like Soliad could be a good AMC stand-in. Lore-wise, Soliad could have been an independent company prior to the 1980s when Bruckell acquired them, much like how Chrysler acquired AMC's assets when the brand became defunct.

To add more lore, Soliad probably became a victim of the 2008 Financial Crisis when Bruckell had to be bailed out by the US Government. It'd be interesting to see what kind of cars mid-2000s Soliad would have been making, whether it be unique and luxurious cars or rebadged European (and Australian?) imports.

I find that unlikely, considering that Soliad doesn't really have the quirk for an independent, and its only car (at the moment that is) has far too much in common with the LeGran.

It doesn't make sense for the 200BX to have 6-cylinder versions. Instead it would be more realistic to have a larger, more GT-esque model with V6 and/or I6 engines. For example-

    • Silvia and Fairlady Z
    • Celica and Supra
    • MX5 and RX7
    • FTO and GTO
    • Eclipse and GTO
    • MR2 and Supra

The Supra and the rx7 are in a different league. The celica can’t really be compared to a Silvia, it’s more so like an integra. There is little consistency in these tiers, but I’d say that there are low, mid, and high range jdm sports cars. The Silvia/240sx, eclipse, mr2 and mx5 represent the low end, fairladys and the fto represents the mid, and Supra’s, gtrs, rx7s, and nsx represent the high end. Celiacs and integras represent a sort of sporty ish commuter car, like a civic si, not a sports car in the true sense of the word unless you get the higher end models, like the type s and type r for the integra.

Fair enough, but the 200BX doesn't have enough engines, so even if it's an aftermarket swap for a Custom or Drift config, it wouldn't hurt to have a straight six available (and that damn V8, after 7 long years)

    So?

You're right, an old German brand with Wankels is missing from BeamNG but GM's experience with them was nothing more than some testing lasting about 3-4 years.

The FTO is actually Mitsu's version of the Integra/Celica models. You probably meant the GTO being in the mid tier.

Yet another Inline-4? It's a "NO" from me, dawg! :p

Ok, so it was a corrector mistake! Classic case! Hehe! ;-P

For the record, they didn't sell the FTO in Europe either.

Before I start typing, I would like to apologize to @SNFriedM14 if I sound harsh.

Um..no. The Celica was a lightweight, bespoke platform, medium-tier sports car, basically a GR86 or BRZ. It was RWD from 1970 until 1985, when it switched to the Carina's FWD platform. It stayed cometitive and, in it's day, was a considerably quick and nimble sports car.

The MR2, MX5, Celica, FTO, and Silvia were all lightweight, bespoke chassis 4-cylinder sports coupes. The GTR was a sports sedan with a coupe option. Supra, Fairlady (aka Z-car), GTO (aka 3000GT), and RX7 were more powereful GT-cars with turbos and AWD and whatnot. Integra, Eclipse, Corolla Levin, and Sprinter Trueno were compact-car based commuter coupes. Soarer, Leopard, and Cosmo were luxury GTs.

anyone else feel like with the moonhawk remaster on the horizon we could be getting a late 70's to mid 80s coupe sedan, sort of like the buick regal?

Mate, Mitsubishi FTO was sold in UK which is in Europe. Vicki Butler-Henderson drove it on Old Top Gear.

I think it was never sold there. Car Throttle made a video on the FTO and the owner said he imported his GPX 2.0 V6 straight from Japan. That's how I remember it, at least.

Not offended at all! I just guess my view on all this is different then yours. It’s a little confusing tho, all the cars.
