Update Speculation thread

According to this wikipedia article, the Honda V3 engine was usually used in motorcycle racing.

Probably not happening unless we get a racing motorcycle in the game ( which I believe is VERY unlikely)

 

But it could be an aftermarket swap for the piccolinia. Still unlikely though.

Not sure if someone else has already said this, but I found out that there will be a money system in career mode and that almost all of the missions have prerequisites. There are a few screenshots of some of those career missions in the game files

GamerGull's Race Week scenarios use a money and achievement systems, could it be this system you're talking about?

 

the current pigeon 1.3 engine is likely also a bike motor.
all that aside though, I'd doubt we'll ever get an official motorcycle, the physics of balancing it in a well-polished way is pretty much impossible.

 

It's lame though, i miss the old revvy 600

 

I found a window in the map editor that said "career", so I clicked on it. Here is a screen shot of it:
If you hover over any of the words in a specific scenario, it tells you something that relates to that attribute. If you hover over the one that relates to if the player can play the scenario, it tells you about a money system. I'm not going to upload all of the career screenshots as they7 just show pictures of cars, but if you go into the missions folder and click on the missions that aren't in game, some of the files are there. Let's just say they all have a vendetta against the SBR4.

 

What could this mean? Is career mode finally actually coming soon? If so, whats it like? Is it a story? Or something else? I’m so excited!
