Totally agree, I hadn't thought of any of your points. Making Hirochi a pure Flat-engine brand will make it stand out more in the BeamNG lore amongst the brands that use Inline-4s (Inline-4s are literally everywhere so there's a great big gap open for Hirochi to fill it with its Flat-4s) and it will also elevate the marketing status and strengthen the genetical connection of the more humble - and not so humble - models/options with the top dog of the brand, the SBR4. Plus the "Sunburst is an almost-WRX" argument used against it holds no water when we see the general "tell us without telling us" approach on the mix of real and fictional matters of each BeamNG car (well, except for the SBR4, that car certainly has more fiction in its mix than the other BeamNG cars)!
Amazing!! I see some weird styling in the wheels. Hope it gets some weird 80s styles, with rectangular holes and/or with 4 openly spread slots!
I can't wait to get my hands on that thing once it's released! (I wonder if the next teaser will show more of the new car)
That confirms that the teaser was about the Covet (even if 99% of the forums users figured that out) Anyway, I really do like the fact that they show us more teasers and about early stuff !
ye i knew that it i thought it would ebedet it with a prevew --- Post updated --- here in youtube form
Damn boi he thiccc Forums had guessed correctly it seems, we do be getting a group b covet Man i'm hyped up
beamng is REALLY leaning towards a simracing game instead of a destruction sandbox. and that is a good thing. I drive in dirt rally 2.0 and beamng drive, and the experience in beam is so much more in your face. the only thing I wish for (besides triple screen support. I know its already in the game, but come on. it sucks) is that beamng adds some unique tracks to the game. amalgamations of all of the best tracks. like a combination of Spa and Monza. maybe in the future, we will have tracks in beam that are more fun to drive than some real life ones.
I believe it's more towards combining both, since a traditional sim racing game is nowhere near as realistic as BeamNG is in crashes! The destruction sandbox part of this game is already amazing, now the driving part is following its own path of improvements! Real-life tracks are, of course, out of the question, since the game has its own lore but some fictional tracks with fictional environments could be part of the content!
