ok yeah the rally map was farfetched
but the moonhawk is definitely next in line for a remaster it looks like it came straight out of 2014

There's a chance an ai car gets spawned that runs from you if you're driving a police vehicle.
Probably refers to this or the ai police chasing the player.

An I6 is very long, so it would be difficult to fit it transversely. Fitting it longitudinally would either stretch the wheelbase, making the car unresponsive (in a mid engine layout), or stretch the overhang and mess up the weight distribution. The Audi quattro, with its front longitudinal I5, had such poor weight distribution that it suffered extreme understeer, even when everything possible was moved to the trunk in the S1 version.

Mounting an Inline-6 transversely in the middle would explain the super wide rear fenders though! Plus, it would be easier to cool the Twin-Turbos down since they're at the same place, which wouldn't be the case with the 2.7 Twin-Turbo V6 we previously mentioned!

An inline 6 is also heavy though, the Castrol JGTC Supra used the Celica's inline 4 for that reason

Also Renault didn't need an inline 6 to throw super wide fenders on the 5 Turbo :)

And that was longitudinal. Wide fenders aren't for wide engines- they don't help with that. They are for massive tires.

    This hurts my head.

The most logical reason for the wide quarter panels is obviously to fit a wider tire and possibly longer travel suspension or an entirely different suspension setup (double wishbone).

The location of the turbos doesn't really have an effect on cooling. Turbos are cooled by either oil or coolant from the engine. The air coming out of the turbos is cooled by an intercooler, or likely two intercoolers in the case of this car (one in each quarter panel vent). Again, the location of the turbos doesn't have a big impact on this either. It just changes the intricacy of the cold side piping.

Not really, depends on the material of the components. Titanium is lighter than both aluminium and iron! :p
Didn't know that about the Supra JGTC.
Yep, true this one about the 5 Turbo fenders! But Renault didn't feel obliged to put an Inline-4 on the Clio V6 later on! ;)
