I'm kind of hoping for a proper transmission sim for the next update. Since last update was focused (in a broad sense) around making the internal components breakable, maybe they will continue that trend with the transmission, so we can get some proper gear grinding on missed shifts.
It was on the wiki a while back, but removed because none of those were added/have been confirmed by gabe. They were primarily community speculation
I didn't want to make a new thread just for a reply to something on the Micro Blog(s). I recently watched a video that said something about SEGA having a patent on camera switch transitions... Not sure if it's expired yet though. (Skip to 5:10)
That video was the first thing that came to my mind as well. I love the transitions, but I hope they're optional. I can imagine them becoming a bit distracting after a while.
i have no idea where to put this but since it has to do with the next update or the game as a whole. What do you guys think would be the style of music that would be heard in the Miramar video?
I somehow can't find any videos on american pickups but is that how a truck of that size behaves? it seems like the truck is made of rubber. its a secret dev language we simply can't understand.
the second one means that there will kinda be drivers in the car but you just won't see them I think, but not sure what the first means.
Censored means multiplayer XD god knows... Ok serious now. Maybe it is something everybody would be shocked with
...It is?! Aww, I was hoping to drive a jelly truck and have invisible damageable drivers. In that case the compute-shaders are also probably a joke that refered to the black smoke on the picture that was with it. I really hope they weren't jokes, I've always wanted to kill myself by doing jumps in a jelly truck.
You can't just post that and not let us know what it is. Is that like a debug mode, or sandbox mode where you can change beam strength? It sure looks like it. Or did you break the game. Also It's quite hard to quote messages from the micro blogs section, since we cannot reply there there is no way we can easily quote posts from there. I had to do some complicated magical trickery to get this quote. ...... Its april fools today isn't it.
