Update Speculation thread

Would love a gt3 racing config for the K series (yes, I know theres a mod for it)

 

Even when it doesn't release next week, I'm predicting some time either this month or next

That will be awesome. But This mouth seems to soon. They like to often Show about 5 to 6 Teasers. Before the update. Seeing this is The first teaser of the Near era ( Covet ) In game. I think maybe not next week but the week after we may get another teaser. I think maybe Mid may. Till Mid June will be the Era where we can be hyped.

I think Dec/Feb was the planing Phase ( With some 3d Model work ) And other stuff.

late Feb to march was work as hard as possible. ( hence Covet teaser )

This mouth Looks to be more work work work. ( With some teaser )

may seems to be Wither work work work. OR work. Final testing. Send the creator branch. Then sit back and wait.

June. 90% will be it if not may. I say 90 as you never know what things may go south.

The Current Covet has a 2013 Era Vibe. But it is Due for some liveing AKA remaster.

Every car's gonna get remastered at some point
I don't think the fact that 1 dev showing passion for the Pessima means it will have the highest priority of a remaster next since the team consists of over 60 people so there's gonna be a lot varying favourite cars among them
And especially since there's still cars that could use it sooner like the Moonhawk and 200BX

 

Yeah, the Moonhawk, 200BX & Miramar are definitely in more need of a remaster.

 

ive got to be honest i still have that mentality of 'oh the 200BX was only released like what? two, three years ago?' so i always check when it was released and get absolutely shocked when i read 6 YEARS AGO

nothing else makes me feel nearly as old, except for the barstow being as old as Fallout 4

 

The Gavril T series would like to be added to this list. (Pls do it before it hits me head on with jato and Ram plows.)

I'd also say the ETK I-Series is in need of remastering because it turns 6 years old on July 23rd (it's therefore old enough). Of course, the sole fact that the car is old enough by turning 6 years old doesn't mean that it's gonna be remastered in the immediate future but it does need its fair share of love!

And here's specifically what I believe it needs. It needs a slight reproportioning of its glasshouse and profile sides (they have to get a bit less slab-sided), a Wagon body, an interior enrichment with more features and, of course, EU-Spec versions and parts (since it's a German car) and more engines:

• A base 2-liter Inline-4, for using the 2000 badge
• A 2-liter Inline-6, for using the 2000i badge
• An 80s Diesel couple of 2-liter Inline-4 and 3-liter Inline-6 engines (for making some new badges - the 2000d and 3000d)
• Even a small V8 - say a 3.6 liter
• The "2400" badge will have no role, since there's the "2000" for playing the role of the Base trim level, so it can go away

Also, the fuel tank, being offset to the rear right corner of the car, is a bit weird although it doesn't seem to affect the handling balance.

I'd be a lot more excited to see a Miramar remaster than a 200bx. The 200bx has already some configs (even if they're quite outdated) but the Miramar lacks A LOT of JDM stuff for having those nice '71 Skyline vibes.

 

Yeah, but I'm waiting for the new Small Cone Remaster, "now with double yellow stripes!"

With a 2-liter Inline-6 and a Coupe body being the most characteristic things missing from it!
