I don't know what you're talking about. --- Post updated --- Uhhh, then why does the eSBR name not feature the "4" in it while still clearly retaining the 4-seater configuration? Let's be honest, the SBR6 nameplate sounds great for the Flat-6 versions!
That is what Gabe retconed the name to back in the day. I don't think there was ever an official acknowledgement of the nomenclature changing for the eSBR, they just went with what the community was refering to the teaser as at the time.
Hmmm, I see. So they kinda went with the community flow. Also, at the very beginning of the creation process, I remember reading that the "4" was for "AWD" but it later changed to "4 Comfortable Adults" because RWD versions were added too. Plus it makes sense why they use it to "sell" the good rear seat room because normally it's the Achilles heel of sportscars. But since we're talking about a Flat-6, therefore an engine with more than 4 cylinders, still having the number "4" (whether it means the passenger accommodation or not) seems a bit like the German nomenclature of giving badges different from the actual displacement of the engines. It could be a classic Porsche reference, something like "SBR4-4" and "SBR4-6" or "SBR4/4" and "SBR4/6", with the second number being behind a dash/slash and indicating the cylinders, distinguishing the versions from one another (just like in the nomenclature of the modern ETKs - "854/856", "Kc4/Kc6"). But then again, since the eSBR has no numbers in its name at all and it still keeps the 4-seater arrangement, then the simplest thing to do would be to change the single number according to the engine ("SBR4", "SBR6").
Just some random ( related BS ) SO i was just thinking if the Covet is getting a remake/remaster. Some things ( no not saying i want sedan. well all been there done that. While i hope one comes we will see ) 1 I think the base models Will be cool if you have a radio delete. as some ECO cars had no radio at all 2 Like the D-series maybe power windows and non power windows as well. 3 Will be awesome if the base model had Vinal seats ( cheaper seats ) 4 If dash had one RPM gage ECT not trying to sound bossy. Just hyped for the covet. EDIT just extra. I know 90% sure it will have carby mesh. It feels so odd seeing EFI mesh on a carbt engine
A gauge cluster without a tachometer would also be good for the base DX version, since cheap cars back then didn't have this feature, whether they were automatics or not (case in point: my Hyundai Atos doesn't have a tach, although being a manual, and it also has no power steering)!
Yep, I confirm I have seen some base models of the Agila without a tach. Also, forgot to write the model year of my Atos (since you wrote it): it's a '98 model and one of the first ones that were ever produced.
Like my Old ED falcon i had. I miss base cars OT I wonder if we will get a cargo like a with no back seat and no rear windows? EDIT for those who dont know. yes It was a inline 6 RWD the falcon
Ohhh, your basic beast looked very nice! Speaking of... A Barra-like engine is really missing from the BeamNG lore. Imagine a modern Barstow with a modern 4-liter successor of the 232ci/4.1 Inline-6 as the base engine (available in both NA and Turbocharged versions) and some modern V8s (either DOHCs or OHVs) for the higher trims!
Okay, so I saw @hjuugoo (that's his name on discord) drawing on the contest thread, and just it made me consider that the car on the drawing could be an ETK... (pretty impressive artwork btw, gg) Annnndddddddddd... I tried to put the drawing on a K-series, and it fits pretty nicely ! That could mean a remaster or maybe just at least race variants ! I'm not really an informatic-passionated guy, but if devs alredy state that it won't be possible to play with 32-bits, that means that the update seems to be close, doesn't it ?
