So will the SSRB map be added as official content in the game? I mean, the Bruckell Bastion trailer already implied this!
Could very well not but it could also. I do hope it gets added, it's an original map with no real alternatives.
The new waypoints probably refers to just fine tuned lane management navigation, maybe even vehicle lane changes that take place smoother its not like there is anything else on SSRB that exists but highway lanes...
I do hope it gets added too. Last map I remember being somewhat like this was the Special Stage Route X in GT5/6/Sport/7 and the SSRB is about 6 times as long as that track! I still remember me violently completing (as in "crashing on the wall on the other end without any hint of deceleration") all 172kms of it with the ETK S-Series S12 LWB mod at a constant (well, almost constant) ~350 km/h at 9th gear, a couple of years ago!
Yeah, it's basically the v6 doubled, and he first flatplane v8 is the i4_2 doubled with a 90 degree v angle, but with a lrlrlrlr firing order LOL!
I could have phrased that better, I meant they seem to know the small quality of life features that normally wouldn’t be as noticed as the remasters and new cars, and they know how these will affect the game, like with knowing they need to get rid of 32 bit support and knowing they have to wait for the release of 0.25 to re-release SSRB. Both of those things would probably not be possible without features that are moreso “under the hood.”
https://www.beamng.com/threads/ssrb.22549/page-6#post-1263281 I don't know if it's my eyes or the Sunburst looks ever so slightly different besides pbr?
I suspect not - the main problem with SSRB was that the further the player went from start, the shakier the car became. I would assume that it'd stay out unless that bug was fixed.
No it's a common problem with getting too far away from x=0, y=0 and the game needing to round mesh/node/whatever positions.
I really hope a USDM Version of the Covet MR Turbo comes since the Renault R5 Turbo and R5 Turbo 2 Were actually sold In the US and had side markers
Well, whatever it was, I presume that that is going to be the thing that keeps it out of the main game. When I used to cruise on the map with lots of traffic, that was my huge complaint with it. I'd assume that unless this was fixed, it'll stay out of the game as per BeamNG dev quality assurance. That said, no reason it won't be an easily accessible mod
Then the update might be moving to a larger floating point number for player position so the bouncing doesn't happen till a lot farther away from the center of the map
