The only real "difference" I notice on the new wallpapers is the motion blur on the wheels, but that can be easily achieved with image editing and might not be a new feature. And I love how BeamNG has to leave license plates blank now, or someone in this thread is going to do a 2500 word analysis on why every single letter and number is a clue for the update's release date, even tho it was randomly generated.
If I recall, didn’t the Vivace’s ESC/TC get developed on an 800 test mule with 800 sounds; if so, then it’s probably the same for the Civetta
Time to grab some popcorn once again. --- Post updated --- I'm wondering that will the Civetta supercar be easy to drive without ESC?
Looks like either the k series or bastion to me --- Post updated --- GUYS THE CIVETTA PROBABLY THE FULMINE
The forbidden list is back The fulmine to my knowledge was supposed to be some 60s or 70s 2+2 That and the list is old and mostly fake and is to be taken with less than a grain of salt, dont use it for speculating
the exhausts really confuse me, but their placement seems like they're trying to put equal-length headers on it and the reason why the exhausts exit almost straight down is bc they're trying to minimize space wasted. it could be a V10 with the last cylinder actually behind where the manifold pipes come together near the wheel arch.
That list has been discussed to death... It's a collection of abandoned concepts which are nearly 10 years old, names mentioned in passing and since forgetten about, and some stuff with zero references outside that list. The Fulmine is one of the few that ever had any "official" discussion about it; it was a vintage Italian grand tourer which was abandoned while still in the concept stage. While the team is free to recycle the name as they wish; that wouldn't really fit right with me personally. Taking arguably the most well known abandoned vehicle concept, which was one that we still could really use in game, and recycling the name for an unrelated project nearly 10 years later would be really weird.
So that wasn’t just me? Good to hear. Yeah, it would be great to be able to run more than two cars without a serious frame rate drop again…
AMD in general is kinda broken rn, especially on the GPU side where i only get like 60-80% usage even on max settings, which would be fine if the game didn't struggle to maintain 60 if i didnt turn shadows off (which seem to be the main fps killer atm)
Hope the Sunburst gets the Flat engines!! --- Post updated --- 'Fulmine' is Italian for 'Lightning'. Personally, the 'Fulmine' name makes me thinking of a car that rips through the air and tears it apart while doing 300km/h+. High horsepower Grand Tourers can certainly do this but Supercars are those that fit this description perfectly because, apart from being good in handling, they are also designed to be aerodynamic and, well, rip through the air. Just like a lightning does! So I definitely want the new Civetta to be called the 'Fulmine'. It will also be great company for the Bolide, which by itself is another natural phenomenon involving heat and light! --- Post updated --- It's a modern Supercar, so I believe it will be easy to drive even without ESC. Don't base your judge on your experience with the Bolide, that car belongs in a different era. Plus, while I'm on the subject of the Bolide, I find the Bolide to have quite neutral handling characteristics now. Especially the Naturally Aspirated 350 and 390 GT versions.
That largely depends on what your understanding of "easy" is. It's certainly not a death trap, but you still need lots of skill if you want to master it without aids.
Good, I can pretend to be a rich kid who tries to show off and crashes their expensive new car at the exit of a car show. Amazing!
Anyone want to parse what Diamondback just posted in the dev section? A dynamic RPM gauge with a redline based on engine temperature?
