QA means Quality Assurance, basically fixing the mess that all software developers inevitably make if left unchecked
What can i say? I loved the bastion ( still will to ) BUT this car is SEXY with Sweet name. The graphics are a massive leap forward, Possibly opening doors/Hoods/Boots. How awesome. how am REALLY wanting a sedan covet ( or one with 4 doors at least ) NO more useing Node grabber to open doors I think it will use the same system that the D-series uses for the tailgate. Witch is a small but useful thing
Scintilla can also be spoken as "skin-tilla" and word itself comes from Proto-Indo-European (PIE) ski-nto, from skehy. This PIE word is where the word shine comes from, which was scinan (read as shi-nan) in Old English, from Proto-West Germanic skinan, from Proto-Germanic skīnaną, from PIE skehy.
what i'm wondering is if theyre finally working to improve the performance this update, the game has been slowly getting worse and worse in terms of it since about 0.22 (on AMD at least) and it'd be nice if the devs found a way to make it run better from what i can tell shadows are the main fps killer? the improved ones being shown now make me a little anxious as a result but who knows
So do you think the Scintilla will be free in the next update, or will it be released as an inexpensive DLC? It's been almost 10 years and most of us have only paid the devs around $20 over that whole time - unfortunately, that isn't going to pay the bills forever...
Honestly, I think the new Civetta holds the record for “largest disc brakes ever on a vanilla car”. Also that front end really reminds me of the Maserati MC20 for some reason.
Just to play devil's advocate: There's been a distinct lack of teasers this update cycle, so it wouldn't shock me if they were trying as hard as possible to avoid rubbing premium content in people's faces or getting people too hyped for something that will end up being sold separately. Paid DLC is planned, although it is unclear whether it will happen before or after 1.0 or what kinds of content it will include. They have as much right to keep the lights on as you do to enjoy the game, this isn't EA we're talking about
do you really think they would do that? it may have been 10 years but the game is still in alpha and has no content other than time trials or scenarios i am sure that many potential buyers just avoid this game because it has no campaign or story why not focus on improving that before risking pissing off a large chunk of the playerbase by adding dlc when the game is so unfinished?
With how long development is taking vs. how much they charge, the business model just isn't sustainable as it is. Premium content may frustrate some players but would appeal to the game's more dedicated core audience (in the case of the Scintilla, especially sim racers), ensuring at least some cash flow so they can continue to develop BeamNG
