Update Speculation thread

This is what happens when we're derived of a new update for 7 months

 

what i'm wondering is what the forum spam amount will be once tdev posts the countdown, iirc the last update was like. 10 pages in an hour or something

 

The language seems like it was used by a 5-y.o.

Can you not act like a bunch of children? "oMg UpDaTe tUeSdAY tDeV cOnfIRm" it's coming when it's ready have some damn patience

 

he said it would come in a few weeks, so probably, july-august. That's not a long time so just i agree - just be patient

There should be a way to pin a post so that people don't spam the thread with release predictions when the date is already more or less fixed

Or those people could just go back one page or so and look there, idk.....

 

Tdev said the update would be next week, so my prediction is late August or early September because I can't read

 

Some will never be the same

 

And we wait one week no update, then another, then another and we get older, and the update never comes.
and we die before update.

 

I believe TDev hasn't been leaving much time between the announcement and update drop because of that.

IIRC when he started doing that it was a few hours before and there would be 30 pages of spam, recently I think he's only been doing it a couple minutes before and there hasn't been too much spam compared to when he started doing that

Nah, just be a little bit patient! Think of it the other way: when your exams are over, you're gonna be spared from any minute issues the Scintilla may be having before the hotfixes occur because they will be corrected by then! Good luck!

Exactly. We see stuff like that every time an update is about to drop and we just don't know exactly when!
