Im use visual intuition for sense of speed, in camera options, i have horizon lock and inertia force set to 100%, and u can feel bumps, accel and lateral g forces in pov camera.. maybe if u try that sets.. u can feel the same sense of speed lol --- Post updated --- I u want to enjoy some VTEC pawa, download KLJP from @Kueso
I agree, I tought the Scintilla was too understeery at first, then I noticed I was entering corners at 80km/h because even its base versions are probably faster than the fastest SBRs (didn't test it, just speculation). OT: Will the Covet Remaster be released on a smaller update later on, or will it be delayed to 0.26? should've read a few posts above, I guess...
Will we ever get region-specific police spawns? Both WCA and ECA have Police liveries made for them, yet the game hardly ever uses them when you spawn in traffic with police cars.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I swear the Moonhawk's bumper could never do this splitting effect before. I know some cars can like the now remastered 1990s Pessima but I can never remember the Moonhawk being able to
I found that rather interesting too, I've been secretly hoping the ETK Driver Experience Center evolves into a German map with a small town or two and a looping Autobahn you can safely go fast on (unlike the Italy freeway, where some corners have poor visibility or can't be driven above ~95mph). I doubt we'll get a full racetrack though, there's already a Nürburgring mod and it's 4x larger then Italy (or 16x larger then the USA maps).
Speaking of the V8 Special, when was the bumper mandate lifted? All I know is that it would definitely not be possible for the V8 Special to be produced from '73-'75, but maybe in '78? On that note, it also makes no sense for any of the Moonhawks to be produced in '73, since that was a year before the bumper mandate.
tdev said earlier in the thread a week or so ago that they are currently targeting a 3 month cycle for at least the next couple releases. --- Post updated --- I also tested the Bolide with the Scintilla's tires on it and it could go ~41 mph around a corner that the scintilla could only do ~38 mph around, but that makes sense as the bolide is lighter and with the same rubber should be able to pull more cornering g's. Gotta remember guys, sure it is a supercar but this is still Beam which has very realistic physics and super cars in real life do not handle like cars in Need for Speed. Everything has to obey the laws of physics and if you've ever had a car mod in this game that you was way faster around corners than the Scintilla that you are comparing it to, it probably had tires with a ridiculous static coefficient of friction (I.E. The really popular LKS Pre-Runner mod was wayyyy faster around corners than the official D-Series Pre-runner, but that was because the tires on it probably had a higher Kinetic CoF than most real tires have Static.) --- Post updated ---
idk if anyone noticed this but I think the covets thread is gone from the official content thing I might be retar idk
I have to agree with the Scintilla handling odd. I found the Bolide Group 5 Car much easier to drive, although not necessarily faster. The scintilla seems to be a very nervous car on the limit and especially under traction. Where as while the Bolide isn't necessarily planted or super grippy its very predictable in its balance and setup. The Bolide should be a far harder car to drive because of massive turbo lag and 80s tire, aero, chassis, and driver aid tech and yet it isn't. I hope the devs look at the race setup and improve it, because right now for me the asphalt rally car is actually easier to drive. Spoiler: Rig Specs and Experience so I don't get people telling me to "get good" or use a wheel Fanatec DD2 and Clubsport V2 Pedals No assists in Beam besides realistic ABS and clutch assist 6ish years of sim racing experience and 15 years of real racing experience.
they have been in the game since (shortly before) the barstow was released, I wouldn't really call them new.
It's not a bug it's a feature. A very rudimentary splitting effect. It happens when beams are broken.
