Update Speculation thread

I speculate that we will NOT be getting an elaborate system where live penguins populate the maps, carjacking the players. I could be wrong though.

 

I speculate that they won't be adding nuclear fission warheads for 0.26, but I'm hopeful that there's always a chance in time for 0.27

 

i speculate:
no moonhawk remaster
no thermonuclear bombs
no antarctica map

 

I'll keep it simple and speculate that the new map won't come with the 0.26 Update.

Sorry, i started to thing that Beam is going to be forza game so no for Minivans I like current Covet becouse this car look cheap. And I afraid that new covet is going to be performance and expensive.
Now Covet looks like chap car... very cheap even for 1990 and I like that. In 1990 we have expensive performance small cars and cheap ones.

 

You can literally see and notice the degradation of his sanity after every post which makes it more iconic lmao

 

Low key though, we need this. The Moonhawk is still rather content-poor, and those new taillights tell me there's still some dev interest in it.

 

Anyways. SO what ( if any ) body's for covet do you think we will see. ?

I think we have a good chance of a sedan. Due to everyone like me wanting one

I think also CRX type thing.

I think a 4 door hatch is also possible.

BUT what if.. what if. 4 door wagon? With AWD?

I will make a RWD manual. drift wagon covet if there is a thing.


Its also possible that we will JUST get the MR and the NORMAL FWD covet remaster. time will tell

 

All these said bodystyles will be filling in some empty niches in the lore. The 4-door Sedan will be representing the 80s small Sedan kind (smaller than the 4.5m length of the '88 Pessima, that is), the CRX-type car will be the one to fill in the small, light and agile FWD Coupe niche while the 4-door Shuttle-type Wagon (or, rather, 5-door) will be the Swiss Army Knife of the lot, especially if AWD is available too.
But we'll wait and see.

 

ok let me put it this way ? why would a car manufacturer make a version, of an already special car with probably quite a lot of hp, with less hp ?
that would take the special part out of it
i dont think that Renault made version of the road going r5/clio v6 with less hp

 

Because just by being mid-engined in the first place, the car will be quicker and better performing. Plus, due to the mid-engined layout, the "special" factor doesn't go away, it just gets more attainable to a few more clients. It still is much more special than an FF 2.0 GTz.
I mean, does the Lotus Elise get diluted and less special by having a base version with "only" 130hp? Don't think so.

 

because it still handles well.
"fun", and even "performance", is more than just raw power.
just ask toyota, who recently made the GR Yaris RS.

 

we dont have a minivan yet and civic wagovan/shuttle probably fits the bill

That is the regular GR yaris, the GR yaris RS has a 118hp n/a 1.5L engine, only a CVT and FWD, but keeps the carbon fiber roof for some weird reason.

 

oh... ok.. why a CVT in a sportscar tho? if the base model already has a shifter

Toyota took the body of the GR Yaris and stuck the normal Yaris internals in for some reason (money)

 

Not quite. A Shuttle-like Covet will be great for its intended purpose, but a Midsize Minivan is still absent. If anything, Bruckell/Soliad and Ibishu have all the appropriate parts to make such cars and add them in their model lineups.
