It is a battleship, just a 2D image in the distance, just like the rest of the distant terrain in that map
Oh that video of the covet on WCUSA is going to be for youtube. http://media-cdn.beamng.com/C7z33yfLjeQVPFPj The file is called YT.mp4
if it was this post https://www.reddit.com/r/BeamNG/sea...rain&restrict_sr=1&sr_nsfw=&include_over_18=1 then its this mod https://www.beamng.com/resources/dsc-mud-pit.22556/
Something irrelevant: a few weeks ago, while I was Googling, I happened to come across this picture on Reddit. I don't remember the name of the thread but I do remember that the one who wrote it said that this would be a great way of identifying the BeamNG wheels. And I agree, it is very useful.
would be an amazing change, and I bet they would use the model instead of an image of the part for the preview.
Yeah, instead of a relatively low-res image (which would also suffice since we're talking about a small image and not a large one), they could use the model of the part, although I imagine the image porting is easy and I don't really know how the model will be ported in the menus. --- Post updated --- One more thing: the way the wheels are positioned and pictured in the image ("en face and three quarters", in photographic terms) also makes it easy for seeing the width of each one, simply by observing its hoop. For example, the Bruckell Luxe and Bruckell Sport wheels are shown in both their 20x8 and 20x9 sizes in this picture so, from this specific angle, one can notice the slightly larger width of the hoop of the 20x9 wheels. This may not be shown here as both sizes use the exact same images but, if done the right way, it can be really helpful in its own right.
true, and the main reason I thought of projecting the 3d model is because it = automation which, while not saving any time initially, will be very helpful for new parts added in the future.
Car_Killer agreed with this post by the way I'm still predicting mid next week, there's been enough "wen relez" that the lack of developer intervention seems to indicate it's coming soon - with the mess of confusion that happened last time, where tdev said something that some took to mean the update had been delayed depending on their timezone, it's understandable if they are a little more quiet about it this time
They are more quiet because they don't feel pressure from community. Problems with 0.25 created probably largest pressure from community. So they corrected that by telling to us more than before.
Ok here we go. There is a ( my own ) Wish list for the Covet ( i was going to make its own thread. But i figure when its out. it will be waste of a thread ) Most of this is just hype as i go insane waiting for the AWESOME dev team ( you cant rush art ) ANYWAY so this is in no order PS this is not meaning to sound beggy/bossy Am just happy they remastering the Covet 1 stripped interior. Yes i know you can remove seats and door panels. But i mean like the vivace. Where you remove carpet. I think it will look cool and add more when you make a race car/demo derby car 2 Demo derby parts. OK so welded doors. Possible derby roll cage. fuel tank where back seat was. maybe some psycho Bumpers for it ECT. 3 Beater to come back. Well Dont want a good DX.? BUT dont want a derby car. The beater should make its come back 4 Sedan/other bodies. I think a sedan and other body styles will add so much to the game. even if its just one new body. ( i hope for a sedan ) but that is just me 5 face lift and pre face lift. OK so a Thick ( plastic ) bumper old school Red covet sedan. With red everywhere. Parked next to a face lifted sedan with its EFI and ABS will be awesome. 6 Some kind of off roader. OK this is a 80% chance seeing almost all if not all cars have some off road config even if its 2wd. 7 Some psycho config. like MR hatch with a engine at the back. and one in front. A red neck back yard way of getting AWD 8 factory AWD just think how awesome it will be to get a AWD Turbo covet hatch. either if engine in in back or front . A AWD Covet will be hot. 9 Engines. While 1.5s 1.8s and 2.0 is realistic. I think a base 1.0 Inline 3 will be awesome. Possible some diesels. 10 Right hand drive. WAIT you saying. We know its getting RHD. well yes. But i mean for the normal FWD versions SO i hope this is ok to post. Sorry for meany spelling mistakes. And sorry to sound bossy am not. I will love what ever they do with the mighty covet. Also for the next teaser ( maybe the last. or the last week. where they post lots before its out ) Do you think we will get a video clip again or a photo? If photo what do you think it will be. I hope a derby Covet ( like they did with the legran teaser ) or a normal FWD covet ( fingers crossed sedan teaser ) Anyway just my 2 cents.
