Update Speculation thread

I agree with that but the performance timers app seems a bit difficult to use. It may just be me though.

It's good separating the old ABS from the new one because it can show the differences in driving aid technology between the older and the newer cars.
But in any case, I think the ABS, old or new, should be included in the "Driving & Safety Electronics" slot of all cars, old and new, because it's a part of the driving aids suite too, no matter how primitive or advanced that suite might be, depending on the car.

 

What do you think we are going to see in todays/tomorrows (most likely happening) teaser tuesday? I think it’ll be about the etk remaster. Either way, I’m looking forward to it

What I would like to see even more is a way to measure the cars 100-200 time. That would be great to see how much aerodynamics affect high speed acceleration and you could compare high performance cars better because there won’t be wheelspin

 

Yeah, ETK is possible.
You're right, plus it's also gonna be better for showing the gear changing strengths and weaknesses of the gearboxes.

 

I hope part of the ABS remaster is that older cars ABS is worse than modern ABS. Maybe even a race version of ABS

The old and less advanced ABS is most certainly gonna be kept in the older cars, of course. A Race ABS makes perfect sense for the Race Electronics slot in the parts selector of the modern cars while race cars will certainly need it.
I just thought of a new kind of ABS for when the modern cars are equipped with the normal Driving & Safety Electronics: a mode-adjustable ABS. For example when you put the cars on Corse/ttSport/Arsenic/Savage/Sport+ modes, the ABS gets on Race mode too and when you put the cars back on Caged/Normal/Comfort/Strada modes, the ABS gets adapted accordingly. It can even be adjusted for off road use, in the Off Road mode of the FCVs.

 

I’ve got that timer but I didn’t know you could change the speed which is supposed to be measured, thanks. The only problem here is, that the timer settings will be reset every time you open a menu or close the game. An official timer would still be the better option

I would like to see aftermarket clutches to get implemented by now. Cool to see they working on the car systems further!

Either way, we are going to see something which we don’t know much about yet. Either the new truck or the etk remaster, both are interesting. For me the etk remaster probably even more as the etk k is one of my favourite cars

 

I'd be surprised to see more of the teaser tuesday trophy* truck so soon after the initial teaser. I doubt two weeks would give them enough time to be ready to show that much more than they were ready to show.

ETK teaser seems safe, it's been awhile since we've had any updates on that.

 

I'd hope for tire thermals teaser tho, supposed to come in 0.26 but delayed and never mentioned by the devs since
