The 800-series is one of the most awkward looking cars in the entire game

It's kinda hard to pin down, but it just doesn't look right in some areas- mostly the lights. The taillights don't really flow with the shape and the lines of the car IMO, and the headlights are pushed weirdly away from the grille (which is too small).
The taillights are also mounted oddly high compared to the tailgate. It looks like it was designed as a wagon- which, of course, it was- but it looks weird because it doesn't look like a wagon based off of a sedan.
If you try to design a sedan from the 800 wagon, you end up witha really weird design- the high-up taillights mean you get a really narrow area between the trunk and the top of the taillights, and that weird crease or lip thing on the taillight just doesn't flow.

If the devs want to include an 800 sedan (which is a no-brainer), they should tweak the design of the car as a sedan first and then make the wagon after.

The D2 A8 is a completely different car from the in-game ETKs. It is an early 00s F-seg FWD/AWD luxury sedan, with the engine hanging off the front axle. All of the ETKs are RWD/AWD, with the engine mostly behind the front axle. The I-series is a late 80s/early 90s E-seg, the 800-series is a modern D-seg, and the K-series is a sportscar. The closest cars to each of those in dimensions and layout (E28/E34 for I, F31 for 800, and C190 for K) are all heralded for sporty handling charachteristics. Don't even get me started on generalizing handling by country...

Tbh, I grew accustomed to how the 800 looks and I can't seem to be able to find any negative points about its aesthetics. I only want the headlights to include the cornering lights feature (which is represented by a mod right now) and the taillights to get LED lighting elements for the brake lights in any facelifted version that might appear. Plus, I also want the engine range to expand (with a 4-liter Twin-Turbo V8 in the high end and a couple of 1.5 gas and diesel Turbo I3s in the low end, to complement the existing 2.0 gas/diesel I4s and 3.0 gas/diesel I6s and for including the modern German "Lego" way of engine construction in the BeamNG lore).
But you're right about the Sedan body. The existing Wagon body needs to be adapted in the rear end for the Sedan to be made, which may also mean that the devs could start from scratch, like they did with many other remastered vehicles (the LeGran, the Pigeon, the '96 Pessima, the H-Series, the Bolide, the Covet and so on).

Found these parts for the Roamer, D-Series and T-Series.
Roamer parts left, D-Series parts middle, T-Series parts right.
Roamer has Crawler Roof Rack and Rear Bumpers.
D-Series has Flat Bed and Cargo Basket Roof Rack.
I do not understand what the T-series has.

Thanks to DriftinCovet1987 and MrAnnoyingDude, we know that the length of the 800 is 469cm, which is about the same as the F30/F31 3-Series. :)
Plus, with the 2015 facelift, the F30 had the 1.5 Turbocharged gas I3 as the base engine in the 318i, with 136hp. So it is 100% realistic. ;)

For me the 800 will be the most interesting remaster. Im stoked to see what they do with it.

The T-Series part is a car hauler upfit. It seems like there's gonna be improvements in this upfit because I see side railings for keeping the vehicles on the platform instead of letting them slip away, as is the case now, without them. There are also some improvements in the lift mechanism as I see twin hydraulic shocks instead of a single one the existing hauler has. And the control unit has larger levers, to make the Triggers easier to use.
Also, could the hydraulic system incorporate the two engine-driven Hydraulic Pump options (80mL/rev & 180mL/rev) introduced with the Dump Body Upfit in the 0.26 Update? Certainly.

I am personally waiting for the SBR4 to receive a remaster, whenever its time will come. It's one of if not the most unique vehicle in the game, being a RWD/AWD rear-engined shooting brake with a Boxer engine as well as dual electric motors. It has a lot of potential to be even more unique than it already is & to possibly have some more whacky bits for the interior & exterior

    Dakar rally config, anyone? o_O

I totally agree, unfortunately I think that we will have to wait some time for the remaster as more people are demanding cars like the burnside/ Moonhawk/ Piccolina and so on to be remastered. Even in its current form it is a great vehicle (I REALLY don’t like the cars front lights in the non electric version tho, looks too old for the car imo)

I have to say the SBR is not my cup of tea but you are totally right. its a really quirky "do-it-all" with huge potential left on the road!

The SBR certainly has good potential for more content, but she is one of the few cars that has actually gotten significant continual attention. Notably multiple proportion adjustments and the eSBR. From both quality and quantity of content perspectives she just isn't nearly as bad as a fair number of cars in game.

I fully expect a rally version soon though. The team seems to be emphasizing off road content for whatever reason and she does have the IRL counterpart Cayman rally car to look to for inspiration in this department.

At first I thought who the hell would prepare a low-slung sportscar for gravel rallying but I have to admit, it's quite a spectacle to behold in a rally stage! ;)

Not only proportion adjustments but rigidity adjustments too, I must say. The area above the tailgate was quite wobbly a couple of years ago (notably, when the car accelerated violently from a standstill) but, with the new roof design, it got the rigidity it deserved. And the tailgate itself was trembling quite a bit during standstill acceleration but it too got infinitely better.
I'd really like to see a Rally-prepped SBR4, the RR/RAWD layout is a big plus for traction during acceleration after all! ;)
Also, the Hillclimb DCT version of the SBR4 is the only racing vehicle in the game to feature the factory steering wheel because it needs the paddle shifters. So, some racing wheels with paddle shifters should appear sometime in the future.

Would be great if there was some way to strap down the cars on the hauler or loads on trailers in general.
