Update Speculation thread

If it's a firetruck that begs the question, will there be fires?

 

I'm less excited for the fire truck itself, more for the basic farm-spec model it's built on top of

I believe the next big update will be really german themed with all this awesome stuff!

Hot take:

This is a lore-ified unimog-style truck that will come with a bunch of different configurations (including a firetruck).

This will also get shipped with new physics features such as mud/dirt on cars, possibly even scratches, and will allow you to wash a given car with said firetruck to showcase that feature.
If that's true we might also get a few carwashes on certain maps.

One thing that nobody has picked up on yet is that the windscreen wipers are in right hand drive configuration. This leads me to believe that this isn't an ETK, and is either an existing Japanese brand, or a new British one possibly.

 

Would be nice to have all that German stuff included in one update

 

if that ends up happening this will be one hell of an update

 

Okay, that's a good idea though I suppose if the devs will add mud and dirt on cars then they'll also add car wash stations on maps to go along with

 

The tow hook is something new. Maybe some new trailer's?

Two off-road vehicle teased? Damn that would be NEAT to use on a sunny and dry map, if you catch my drift

 

There's no way this vehicle is related (chassis wise) to the prerunner thing that was teased a few weeks ago. But like, two vehicles along with a supposed k-series/800series remaster incoming for 0.27-0.28? thats pretty sick

 

I´m weirded out by the amount of things teased vs what's confirmed to come.

No update on Tire Thermal
No Update on New Map
No Update on ETK
And some other things tdev confirmed for 0.27..

And yet they tease a whole another vehicle,

 

Welp. they are adding a step van finally. along with firetruck conversiosn for it and maybe a swat truck version

 

it's possible that we might get the same situation as with the previous winter update where it was in 2 parts, depending on how far along the cars are.

 

As a german myself i sure would be!
The ETK brand didnt get much love over the last couple of years!

 

True, the Christmas update was massive last year, and I think a good number of sales are made at this period when kids get new PCs? That's pure speculation but it would make sense for massive updates to drop around the holidays from now on
