Yes, this would explain the sheer amount of teased content and the fact that so many stuff was already teased before the last installment and then the word of it just vanished.
My take is they are expanded on stuff or atleast decided to drop stuff from the latest update which is almost ready but they decided that we are in for a reeeeallly big treat this christmas!

I can't find the source right now so I might be wrong, but I remember some dev saying how they weren't planning on adding a fire truck because then people would expect it to shoot water and put out fires along with other things. That makes me think that it might actually function correctly if they're adding one.

 

Maybe they found a way. Even if not i would not be disappointed because i would love a fire truck just for the looks of it i mean you cant put the Ambulance to use neither since there are no ragdolls to stuff in there and drive them to the hospital but its just nice to have the vehicle itself

 

There's a lot of different types of trucks that people refer to as "fire trucks". A modern American pump truck would definetly carry that expectation, but something like this wouldn't necessarily.

 

Yeah, it could be an equipment truck, or a brush truck (stralia!)

 

Yes, they didn't want to add a fire truck back then because they had told us they had problems in finding a way to make water behave inside of the truck like IRL (sloshing, shooting from the hoses, stuff like that).

IF it is US ( dont look it to me ) then most likely a gavril with the fleet master v8 and the inline 6.

That's a nice beast! The "VISETRAMA" name is very fitting for the utilitarian purpose of the car but it sounds like it also includes the word "trauma" in it. It would only make sense for an ambulance conversion.
I found a name too: "Mehrfache Nutzfarzeug", or "Multiple Utility Vehicle". For short, "MeNu" (for the menu/repertoire of its abilities) or "MUV".
