Update Speculation thread

Using the gas prices listed, i have deducted that the new map is somewhere either in the US, Bhutan, Pakistan, Lebanon, or Argentina

Diesel prices for comparison purposes

So looking at the comparisons of prices its seems to be Pakistan based

 

keep in mind

 

remember how they teased "super duper early concept art" for the JRI remaster? then proceeded to release it in the next update?

I think this is gonna happen here too, they're not showing us the map but I think it's already done or at least ~90% done and will be released in the next update.

 

Anyone else think there’s an ocean in the background?

 

This kinda makes me think it might be Cyprus. Would fit the new truck Unimog thingy and it’s sunny and dry.

 

The statues make me think the area has something to do with dinosaurs. Perhaps there's a lot of oil in that area

The question is, what does Pakistan's soil look like?

Also, I guess it has to be a place where the imperial system is used rather than the metric one, seeing the numbers and the fact that it’s in English.

On another note this looks like either Texas or Mexico. I can't really see any other area having this sort of scenery and gas stations with 9/10 being displayed after the gas price.
