I think we have already established this as the culprit of the problem, further discussion is beating the dead horse
BeamNG pr team has probably acknowledged their mistake from the general "backlash" or feedback given by the community, and same situation will hopefully not be repeated
Won't even talk much about people being disappointed about teasers, feels like people are spoiled with biweekly teasers now and won't settle for less or cause shitstorm if popularly requested feature is not shown

Anyway, rant over. Don't wanna drag the problem into further pages, i think we all have established and acknowledged the problems lying within, let's hope everything will be better next time!

Anyways let's get on topic, do you know if there will be some significant changes made to Career mode? Because a ton of different things were teased, and I don't really think the devs would have time to improve upon career mode while also adding a new car and a map.

Fair point, but wouldn't they be worked on by different parts of the team?

While I'd like to think they'll continue to update the career sneak peak (as basic as it is, it's the most fun I've had playing in years), there is no guarentee that the public build will get regular updates. It was just a sneak peak after all.

I for myself like a good and honest argument over something of people like or dont like.
For me freedom of speech will always be the highest good people can achieve.
We need ALL opinions without getting canceled because some are of course the opposition.
If you liked the teaser: Tell me!
If you disliked it. Tell me!
Its important we getting all opinions.

I can understand that. But since its got nothing spetacular i had the most fun just to "build my own adventure" but i can surely understand people who are excited about career mode.
    Its full of possibilities!

I believe the modern ETKs can have a Twin-Turbo V8 because, apart from Tanco's exceptional 4.2 V8 mod, which shows that both the existing modern ETKs can fit a V8 very well, and the modern German "Lego", 0.5l per cylinder (equals 4.0 liters, in this case) way of engine design and manufacturing, about which I've talked numerous times in these forums, it's also a matter of character. The smaller and lighter models, being the 800 and the K-Series, can be the sportiest and the most athletic while some other, larger models of the ETK brand with the same engine like, say, an F-Segment Luxury Sedan, a Full-Size 3-row Luxury SUV and even a smaller SUV, based on the same 800 chassis, can be the more refined and mature choices (well, the smaller SUV is definitely gonna be more athletic than the Full-Size one, it's just that, compared to the 800, it's still gonna be less of a performer due to its extra mass). It's all a matter of character. ;)

I absolutely agree that you could fit a V8 in the engine bay and it would make for a great configuration with an engine swap, but it's not realistic for either modern ETK in their current states. The 800 needs to be heavier to realistically get a V8 and the K-Series just isn't a V8-sized sports car, especially a TT V8, which is the only realistic setup for the model years that they take up. A TT V8 would be an amazing engine swap, and likely an exceptionally easy one to complete.

If we had a 5/6 Series equivalent or an official SUV, a V8 would be a perfect addition.

I absolutely agree with the way you put it. The 800 was presented in 2013, a time when range-topping big NA V8s were still alive and well (hell, even the then-called SLK had an NA version of the M157 5.5 V8 as its range topper back then) so, when going by the reality book, it doesn't make any sense for the existing modern ETKs to have a Twin-Turbo V8. It makes more sense to have a Twin-Turbo I6 as the range topper for these cars.

And you just discovered another niche to be filled in by the ETK brand: the F12/F13 6-Series-sized Coupe/4-seater Soft-Top Convertible. The Twin-Turbo V8 would certainly be great in such a car!

A super high-end trim of the 800 (if it gains a little weight) would work with a factory TT V8, just see the C63 AMG. They’re heavier, but have a 6̶0̶0̶+ 500+HP TT V8. The thing is, I don’t really think it’ll gain any weight so this is an unlikely configuration.

    4. Steamdb is not a valid source. The QA branch is updated daily by automated processes, and serves as no indicator as to when an update will release.

    From the rules page

SteamDB is typically pretty accurate at predicting release dates based on branches that are not the latest branch. When the creator program is updated, it means the update is near, because the devs have given the update to content creators so they can produce content on it. qa_stable is also a pretty telling update. Just not qa_latest lol.

You mean the E63? 'Cause the C63 had 510hp with the same TT V8.
Indeed, weight would work good on the modern ETKs for the TT V8 to be beneficial but AWD with Drift Mode would make sense too. After all, the modern ETKs platform already offers this feature.

I was looking at the newest C63, which I forgot was a turbo 4-cylinder + hybrid over a TT V8. I didn't expect that, if the newest one had 671 hp that it wouldn't have gained 170hp in one generation on a very similar motor as the last gen. But now I realize what the last gen had.

The new generation of the C63 (which I don't even factor in anymore due to the 4-cylinder) weighs over 2.1 tonnes with all the Hybrid components too, so it balances the 161hp gain with a 400kg+ weight penalty over the W205 C63.

I think you are speaking for almost all AMG guys when you say that. "63" meant big engine from day one, which was the W204 with the 6.2L V8, and then the 5.5, and then the 4.0 (which does sound pretty good for being kind of small). A tiny 4-banger PHEV making 670 HP is amazing, but does not warrant the 63 moniker since it's no longer the muscle car that prior gens were.
