Update Speculation thread

I'm just waiting for the update, developers, well done, according to the teasers you have given, I can say that you will please us with a cool update for the new year.

Interesting turn of events with the creator program update. I’m not aware how much time is usually given to creators before a general release but I suspect it will be more than one day - which means the update will come out next week. (Release on Friday is unlikely, I think)

Having an update next week leads me to think there will be only 1 major update, without a seperate Christmas update, as there is not much of a gap inbetween. On the other hand, there has been so much vehicle content teased that it’s still a possibilty the devs will withhold something as a small Christmas surprise.

I wouldn’t expect the major update to come out on Christmas week as it would be a disaster if there are significant bugs that need fixing during the holidays

I'm definitely looking forward to this update more than usual, the devs have done a great job playing to the engine's strengths and focusing on variety over quantity this time around - that's my two main complaints resolved

 

Wait, what ? Last time i checked people were pissed that it was only a map teaser and that there wasn't any engine-related stuff

 

If im not mistaken devs want to release in 1-2 years 1.0 version of this game. This update seems like they want finalize off-road content and move to utility/racing etc.

 

No, I mean this game usually nails off-road stuff, so it's good that they focused on that

There was that beamng.tech presentation and they have shared some goals for beamng.drive and .tech. I’m not able to put here link at this moment

The update for 0.26 released on September 19 and there’s usually an update every 3 months and December 19 is exactly 3 months later. I could be wrong though.
