I'd love to see the ETK K-Series widebody/remaster (even if it's not planned for 0.27). It's been teased a while ago now, and I feel like it was buried under all the off-road content.

As cauli I said, not having radio silence on the ETKs would be great. Maybe we could see a new configs that wasn’t in the game before now, or just something you think is cool about it. Or do something that we haven’t seen before lol.

I don’t expect so, it was teased before the 0.26 update, it wouldn’t make any sense to keep content like that from us for that long.

 

Yes but at the same time i don't understand why the ETK will come in an off-road update, it's just for that i think the ETK will come after.

I was checking out this racing event called "King of the Hammers" from one YouTube video, and I couldn't believe my eyes!




The YT video position doesn't match exactly, but the teaser of the map is basically inspired by the areas of that racing event.

"Coincidence? I think NOT"

If it is inspired by the King of Hammers, we might get a similar looking environment to Johnson Valley, California... But, we might actually get 1:1 or close to real-world as possible recreation of the tracks and environment that are used by the event. It is pretty close to Los Angeles and San Bernadino. It might explain the "vehicle is sorta a teaser too" that Leeloo tried to hint at, considering that such vehicles are also off-road racing in this specific event.

Which begs the question of why Beam doesn't have real-life locations. Sure, recreating an actual city may be a little difficult from a legal standpoint, but what about racetracks? I'd kill pay extra for Beam-style recreation of Nürburgring (though @kirbyguy22's AC port is great, too).

We already have the Nürburgring, it's just a mod, the dev don't need to recreate it.

 

Los Angeles is Casilda Beach, right?

 

Especially its a LIDAR scan from AC. It would be just too expensive to recreate it with more precision.
