Update Speculation thread

Great! I'm sure that Johnson Valley will be a fantastic map for you off-road nuts! I might even take a crack at it myself - I've been getting a lot more into off-roading in the past couple months.

I'm mostly excited about the FPU Argo-thing - I've been practically maining the Beaver in the past week or so, and it's a lot of fun to drive around...on anywhere that isn't a paved road. (So, WCA isn't very fun for the Beaver, while just about everywhere else is. Even the ETK center isn't too bad, since it's got a lot of Beaver-friendly grass.)

Stairs, dirt, water, rocks, and mud are all fine-to-great in that little thing, and I've even been learning how to use the current of the water (in places like JRI) to move faster and save fuel. There's a staircase in WCA near Little China that I absolutely love taking the Beaver up and down - it's like a very slow mountain road!

I reckon the FPU will handle similarly, although I am interested in seeing how a 6x6 and 8x8 FPU would handle differently. Perhaps the 6x6 will be a better handler, while the 8x8 will be a better hauler?

When were the other updates released ? ( not the day, but when hours ? )

 

it seems to me that at the moment new messages appear every 30 seconds, if not more often

Can't wait for the new update, the devs have put in some amazing work

 

The size of the map just really gets me going

 

Me too, it probably will be bigger than Italy.

 

So for now , italy is the biggest Map but it is nothing compared to ECUSA's farland : they're so Big that it could probably be the New map's size

well it is teased, just not recently

 

I think we've seen 2 teasers of it in total? Yeah, probably not coming in part 1 or 2 of the update... maybe part 3

 

Can you at least tell us if there will be a vehicle with wheels, a seat and an engine in the update?

 

I really hope the new update dont mess up the Updated Shiftlogics Mod again.
