Does the windshield lean forward? It doesn’t seem like it in the other screenshots. Maybe it’s coming down a slight hill?
But does the game itself know when an update is out? If not, just launch the game outside Steam. Afaik BeamNG doesn't need Steam for anything but updates. I bought BeamNG on Steam but I rarely launch it from there – I have like twenty hours there tops.
Also the new trophy truck, some say it is just a purpose built trophy truck, or do you recon it’s a full on new vehicle, what do you think??
"The Update Speculation Thread" in a nutshell: -The select few: actually speculating - The majority: "UpDaT WeN?!?!?!" OT: I am certain the update will come tomorrow, (PST here) but It is not to say that there wont be a bug or something that pushes the update back another day or two... regardless I'm waiting patiently for the update to come... Definitely some goodies to come for sure, hopefully more body styles to choose from on the Bellobus.
If it have a non-offroad variant could be bases on 2010-2020 Ford Trucks, because the trophy truck is based on the Ford Raptor.
Same, it would be amazing, except I think I might have to assume their won’t be a road / normal modern truck then again this update is big which could possibly mean the truck is a proper vehicle, also imo it wouldn’t make sense for them to just have a full on off-road baja pre runner truck on its own, would make more sense to have a whole entire vehicle to go with it hopefully we are surprised with a full on new truck because If remember correctly, ages ago someone did a poll on the subreddit on new vehicles they should add and a modern truck was one of / the most voted one, and as we know the devs do listen to the subreddit because that one time someone made a challenge on there, they added it as a drift scenario on the next update
It's most likely a purpose-built vehicle. If it had a factory variant, that would've been most likely teased first, like with the Vivace, Wendover, Wigeon, and Scintilla. It does mean we won't be getting a new modern truck, but it also means that we can start getting some official race cars and other non-road-legal vehicles.
What with the concept vehicle list of old having been finally finished, I wouldn't be suprised if another followed - only in the form of fiberglass bodies on these purpose vehicles, with production versions to come later.
That’s true. And it’s not just that they didn’t tease it first, they haven’t teased a regular version at all. But non road-legal vehicles would be nice
I could absolutely see the tube-frame vehicles being used as development testbeds for new production vehicles - instead of having to design all-new frames and suspensions every time they want to see what a new vehicle would look like, they could take, say, the T-Rex buggy or the trophy truck and slap some new body panels and engines on those. However, with how much faster it would be to develop an Automation prototype, I'm not sure if the tube-frame vehicles will be necessary for prototyping.
