Update Speculation thread

In short, it's a simulation for hydraulics, a simulation that is way too advanced for any standard game

Sadly, i'm leaving for work and i'll miss the fun, i'll only join you guys back in like 10 hours

Still no teasers for the XTV, unfortunately - it might not be coming with 0.27, but maybe it'll be added in a bonus update, like the Hop-Crawler and Bastion/Bolide V2.

So far, tdev has shown 3 different vehicles ingame, only the beaver kind of thing is missing edit: and the baja truck has been shown before ofc

My RX570 was already struggling for its dear life because I have a QHD 165HZ monitor, waaay over it's capabilities, but it just decided to die on me, so I can't even upgrade my CPU because I'm now using integrated graphics

I didn't mean that as a joke, do a ghetto BGA reflow on the GPU and it'll work again for some amount of time (maybe).

 

Integrated graphics isn't as bad as you think. My integrated graphics can play low settings at 40 to 50 fps but it is 1600x900. It is good unless you're a high or ultra user

Honestly at this point, this GPU is basically dead anyway, the fans don't spin, it just has a light that indicates its receiving power correctly and that's it

 

Seems the final few things are being put in place prior to the update being pushed

 

I wouldn't recommend doing it in an oven (at least not in one you're actively using to prepare food) but yes, I've seen it work enough times. It's by no means a permanent fix though

I thought for a moment that this "SP" brand made wheels, but the maker of the Sand Star, Standard, and Wrestler wheels is "GP".

 

Man I can't even play this update after it comes out but I am excited to just comb through the changelog and watch the feature videos and whatnot
