I'd add battery simulation since it's sad to see old cars with non functional voltage gauges

That seems unlikely. It just was Christmas Holiday so most devs are hopefully enjoying time off with their families.

Most people dont tend to work on Christmas Holidays. :p

Seriously... you people should not begrudge the devs taking a week of well deserved vacation and family time.

No way. It can't take about 2 weeks for a new update.

So with the addition of the quarry, the existence of haul truck and loader tires, the hints of stuff with rocks and tracks, I'm thinking maybe a heavy equipment update may be expected eventually.

I've looked for tire testing facilities and there is what i've found the most interesting.

Firstly, there is this site " https://www.millbrook.co.uk/services/vehicle-and-component/tyre-testing/ " where they test tyres on snow and under very low temperature in Finland.

Secondly, and imo it's the most promising (if the dev team have visited this one) it's this second website " https://calspan.com/automotive/tire-performance-testing ". In this one they test tyres at high loads (wich could be a good thing if we get excavators, terrain deformation,...). Plus the fact that we got new hydraulics systems for the dumper T-Series in 0.26 if i remember correctly, an update focused on heavy machineries with terrain deformation, dirt and scratch on cars and trucks could be possible. Bu who know what the devs have planned for the future ?

And in the end of their page there is this (look at the pic)

The most interesting in all these other page is imo again the "flight and wind tunnel" (wich make me think about aerodynamics)

    Thanks for reading :D

not sure if people already found this, but this is apparently an early development site with the new Vue.js interface for refueling!
different fuel types and even electrical recharging is "implemented" already!
    looks quite promising!

there are also a few other things (like a component test page with test buttons etc) but this is the most complete that I found
funnily, in the credits, they still mentioned AngularJS

From the File name of the B logo (Beambuck.svg), I'd suspect there may be an ingame currency with the name Beam Bucks?

    BeamNG.drive/ui/ui-vue/
there's even a README.md on how to it :) (basically run npm install and then npm run serve in the directory)
    the refueling is in "ui-test-jon"

Yes, I've noticed that the carburetor simulation is a bit off
It takes longer for a carbureted car to rev than a fuel injected car
It has more of a mechanical delay, if you could think of it that way
It takes much less time for energy to travel through wires than gears
Gears have to make tension (tension being the air speed)

I think a heavy equipment and trucks themed update would be awesome. Working excavator and front end loader, heavier loads for trailers, more types of trailers, T-series remaster, ground deformation and who knows what else, the possibilities are endless
I think beam bucks will have a 1-1 exchange rate with US dollars, otherwise it wouldn’t make sense that gas prices in the game look like dollars

The question is "what are the long term goals that they are speaking about ?"

In the end of the devblog

From the way this was worded, it sounds like they finished a certain selection of "long term content/features" for this year, so they will tackle the next bunch of "long term" goals for 2023. It does not mean anything big or small really, just something that they will want to work on, for e.g. vehicle remasters, new features, career mode, new vehicles and others.
